I was at the GOP convention in Miami in 1968 and this event was the talk of the convention. We were thrilled with Buckley.

The interview with Woody Allen was quite amusing as well. Perhaps most interesting is that the audience was respectful, well-dressed, and informed. Contrast that with the loud-mouthed, ignorant slobs we've become. It's depressing, to say the least.
