From Fox News: “A powerful New York politician claims she was just speaking as a private citizen when she tried to run Chick-fil-A out of town, but she used her official letterhead and even invoked her position as City Council speaker to apply pressure on the embattled chicken chain.”

Note that this “tolerant” liberal’s definition of “diversity” apparently means “everybody who agrees with me.”

Nice to see another prominent NYC Democrat (Peter Vallone) push back…

New York University is a private institution. What business does a city official have telling them which businesses to use in their food court?

“At a time when our discourse has become so sharply polarized, at a time when we are far too eager to lay the blame for all that ails the world at the feet of those who think differently than we do. It’s important for us to pause for a moment and make sure that we are talking with each other in a way that heals, not a way that wounds.” --Barack Obama

Wow, this is fun! What other deep profundities can you share with us?

So the God fearing, gun toting, bible thumping, A.K.A. tea party folks are gone and no longer a factor in American politics? OH, and culture doesn't matter.

I don't think so.

Today's CF turnout combined with the Texas vote verify that the TEA party is alive and well and the participants are just using their powder judicially .

Actually, on the list of things that God hates---"Fags" are way, way down on His list. And as far as "sexual" sin goes, God has a whole lot more to say to Adulterers and Fornicators. Homosexuals barely get a mention in comparison. But lying---Lying is BIG on God's list. Spreading lying photo-shopped digital images---that probably counts as lying. This says it better than I can:

Exodus 23:1 “You shall not spread a false report. You shall not join hands with a wicked man to be a malicious witness.

My favourite patron comment on the web today:
"A nicely dressed young man (Chick-fil-A employee) stood next to the drive-thru lane handing out voting registration forms. He asked, “Are you all set to vote this election?” and I gave him a thumbs up.
So, the lefties lost twice today–they signed up lots of conservatives to vote, and they blessed a conservative business with an overload of customers!"

Great story. I hope it is duplicated thousands of times over. The left takes every opportunity; so should we.

God Bless The USA
by Lee Greenwood

If tomorrow all the things were gone,
I'd worked for all my life.
And I had to start again,
with just my children and my wife.

I'd thank my lucky stars,
to be livin here today.
‘Cause the flag still stands for freedom,
and they can't take that away.

And I'm proud to be an American,
where at least I know I'm free.
And I wont forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.

And I gladly stand up,
next to you and defend her still today.
‘Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land,
God bless the USA.

From the lakes of Minnesota,
to the hills of Tennessee.
Across the plains of Texas,
From sea to shining sea.

From Detroit down to Houston,
and New York to L.A.
Well there's pride in every American heart,
and its time we stand and say.

That I'm proud to be an American,
where at least I know I'm free.
And I wont forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.

And I gladly stand up,
next to you and defend her still today.
‘Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land,
God bless the USA.

And I'm proud to be and American,
where at least I know I'm free.
And I wont forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.

And I gladly stand up,
next to you and defend her still today.
‘Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land,
God bless the USA.

Maybe I'm nit-picking but I've never been a fan of this song. No "man died and gave" me rights. My rights are God-given, as our Constitution establishes.
