Yesterday, Jake Tapper asked White House Press Secretary Jay
Carney about a statement released by the family of slain U.S.
Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry objecting to President Obama’s
decision to exercise executive privilege concerning documents
pertaining to the Fast & Furious Scandal.
Carney replied with his characteristic snarky spin that Fast
& Furious was the fault of the Bush Administration and that
Attorney General Eric Holder was the one who put to stop to it. But
then Carney ended his response by
stating, “That is why we have provided Congress every document
that pertains to the operation itself that is at issue here when
you talk about the family that you referred to.”
Thank goodness Tapper interjected to say, “The Terry
family.”
Well, this is what happens
your son doesn’t look like President Obama. Now imagine the
fury that would have followed if one of George W. Bush’s press
secretaries couldn’t remember the name of a soldier who had died in
Iraq. Then again it is probably just as well that it was Carney who
said “the family that you referred to”. If it was President Obama,
he’d have probably called Terry a “corpseman”. Come
to think of it, does President Obama even know who Brian Terry is?
Or for that matter
Jaime Zapata?

I hope Romney knows who Brian Terry is. I haven't heard anything about him bringing his murder up yet on this fast and furious issue.

Mitt is doing the correct thing. He serves niether in the House nor the Senate. His pontificating on the subject would just lead to a torrent of abuse by everyone from McCain to Christ Matthews. And before you know it, Mitt would be the story, and not Holder nor Obama. There is the ancient adage goes, "Whom the Gods would destroy they first make mad." As of two day ago, Obama made Fast and Furious his scandal and not the DOJs.

I haven 't heard him bring up anything controversial since he became the nominee. This kind of aggressiveness did not bother him when he was running against Republican rivals in the primaries. He must be campaigning now to gain "new respect" from the media. Good luck with that!

Carney is a low life scumbag with the morals of a child molester, at best. He's a Liberal Journalist, after all.
Albert Constantine Jr.| 6.23.12 @ 10:20AM
Most child molesters seem to recognize at least others find what they’re doing is wrong, which is why they often threaten harm to their victims or families if they tell others about their molestation. Outside of a couple of reporters like Ed Henry or Jake Tapper, the rest of the White House Press Corps sit around these conferences like the rest of the members at a NAMBLA meeting, enabling the perversion to continue and cheering it on.

No, I doubt Obama or Holder even know the names of Agents Terry and Zapata. Obama and Holder are so incompetent, arrogant, and uncaring that if they can not be screwing over the Republicans or covering their butts, or getting Obama re-elected, they simply don't care.
Truth to Power| 6.23.12 @ 9:21AM
Some people can give their wedding, birthday and Christmas gifts to the Obama campaign, others can quietly give their lives. The subtext that the big O's lackeys bring forth is that Holder and now Obama are protecting the Bush administration from the embarrassment of this program. That is not too likely from President Blame. He has leaked state secrets to help his campaign. What a pathetic President, a total O.
BD57| 6.23.12 @ 9:01PM
Carney really is pathetic.
Oldefarte| 6.24.12 @ 10:54AM
No, Carney and his boss don't really give an excrement who Terry was etc., since after all Terry worked for his financial living, paid taxes, raised/supported his family, went to church, etc no doubt. Carney and crew don't care about people like that, since they're only concerned with providing governmental welfare to their indigent political supporters at taxpayers' expense all for political purposes!!!!!!!!!!!
