Nancy Pelosi says Republicans are going after Eric Holder as part of a vote suppression effort. What bunk.

A federal law called the National Voter Registration Act, popularly called the “Motor Voter” law (because it requires states to offer voter registration at drivers’-license bureaus), has a provision in its Section 8 that requires states to clean their rolls. That’s what Florida was doing – but the Department of Homeland Security ignored Florida’s repeated requests for lists of documented aliens, terribly delaying the process. Florida finally found other sources of the information – but in the meantime, it wasn’t able to start correcting its rolls until several weeks ago. … As a first-hand participant in shaping Motor Voter, I can say with assurance that Democrats and Republicans agreed back then that non-citizens shouldn’t vote. To do anything else would have been political suicide. Therefore, Florida and Von Spakovsky are right and DoJ is wrong – not as a matter of politics, but as a matter of fact.

Similarly, I suspect that the real aim of last week’s (illegal) executive order providing amnesty for 800,000 illegal aliens is less to win the votes of Hispanic citizens than to open the door even wider for illegal voting. Among legal voters, the order is a political wash: It might attract some votes from legal Hispanic citizens, but it also will even further turn off another block of voters who hate amensty or who object to flagrant executive overreacch. But by providing a sort of documentation to 800,000 new people, it also makes it easier for those 800,000 to vote. Holder and Obama know this. They approve of it. And Pelosi knows it.

Just as there could be only one purpose behind Fast and Furious, there can be only one reason for opposing attempts to ensure that only legal registered voters are allowed to vote.

Pelosi is as big a liar as Reid, Holder, and Obama. It's not voter suppression, it's elimination of illegal voting. These frauds can only win illegally, so they're attacking anyone who wants truth and honesty. Pelosi is attacking efforts to clean voter rolls, and all Democrats in Congress are attacking efforts to get to the truth of Fast and Furious.

Under this administration I expect the introduction of an accelerated simpler path to citizenship. I believe achieving citizenship was first made easier under Clinton, at least the test was.

The cracks n her irrationality is as large as the cracks in her face from over-facial surgery cosmetication perhaps. That said, she a typical lying sack-of-excrement aka DEMOCRAT that was previously ID'd by the screaming congressman at the SOTU address several years ago. The very visual sight or her and the sound of her screaching voice makes one want to reguritate on one end and take a large excrement from the other.....OINK, OINK, OINK or more appropriately HO, HO, HO!!!!!!

'.... Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., says House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi has truly lost it in claiming that the GOP’s investigation into Fast and Furious was linked to White House opposition to Republican-inspired voter purges.
“It’s really beneath the office of a member of Congress to say something that outrageous, and the fact that she was once the speaker is mind-numbing,” he told Greta van Susteren on Fox News Thursday night, Politico reports. “I have heard a lot in my 16 years as a prosecutor. I couldn’t believe the words coming out of her mouth.”In a press conference Thursday, Pelosi said House Republicans are doggedly pursuing their investigation of the Fast and Furious gun-walking operation to prevent Attorney General Eric Holder from fighting the voter suppression effort.
More than a dozen states have adopted GOP-backed bills to strike ineligible people from voter lists. Democratic critics contend that the laws are designed to limit minority voting, and Holder is fighting against them.“This is no accident. It is no coincidence. It is a plan on the part of the Republicans,” Pelosi said.Gowdy scoffed at that notion. “I don’t know what was wrong with her when she said that. But I would schedule an appointment with my doctor if she thinks that we are doing this to suppress votes this fall. That is mind-numbingly stupid.. .........'
