The Spectacle Blog

Yesterday, an Israeli civilian building a fence along its border with Egypt in the Sinai Peninsula was killed in a terrorist attack by the Mujahadeen Shura Council, an affiliate of al Qaeda which dedicated the attack to the late Osama bin Laden. Israeli forces killed three of the Mujahadeen terrorists.

I find it interesting that the attack was carried out following elections in Egypt. Of course, it isn’t the first time Israeli civilians have been killed as a result of attacks from Egypt since the fall of Hosni Mubarak. In August 2011, eight Israelis were killed in attacks launched from the Sinai by Palestinians.

Now that al Qaeda is involved and with an Egypt far more hostile towards Israel, I expect we’re going to see a great deal more of these attacks from the Sinai.

That is likely until the fence is complete and the area staffed with tanks.

That's ironic because in Syria the zionist state (Israel) has called for military intervention against the Assad government in support of Sunni Wahhabist (Al Qaeda linked) terrorists that CNN, Fox News and the BBC consider "freedom fighters" or even more misleading "unarmed opposition protesters".

so, you're in support of the Assad thugocracy mowing down protesters and butchering children, much like the support, both verbal and military, given by Russian dictator and acclaimed mass-murderer Putin?

The Americans and the Israelis have done plenty of killing themselves and now they are in league with the Al Qaeda Wahhabists which is nothing new for them just go back to the Soviet Afghan war. The "freedom fighters" you support are kidnapping and killing Syrian Christians and setting off bombs in Damascus. So I guess that makes you a supporter of terrorism.

Spike59: The name is Dmitry Aleksandrovich. He is a muzhik. Pass the vodka and help him smear some dung on the walls of his hovel to keep his family warm this winter.

He also supports jihadists, and gives out copies of "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion" to anyone who will listen. In short, he is a troll.

Now, there are arguments for and against staying out of things and countering Assad. McCarthy believes that we should let both sides bash heads "Spy V. Spy" style for awhile, and I tend to lean that way. Certainly, any intervention we do at this time would benfit by being on the QT.

Any more lies you'd like to spread about me Occam. If you want to know why anti-semitism exists in the world just look in the mirror. You with your double standards. You don't care how many Arabs die Christian or Muslim as long as zionist European Jews can hang onto that strip of land they stole from the Palestinians.
