Here are the five conditions an illegal immigrant must meet to qualify for deferred action, according to the Department of Homeland Security:

  1. Came to the United States under the age of sixteen;

  2. Have continuously resided in the United States for a least five years preceding the date of this memorandum and are present in the United States on the date of this memorandum;

  3. Are currently in school, have graduated from high school, have obtained a general education development certificate, or are honorably discharged veterans of the Coast Guard or Armed Forces of the United States;

  4. Have not been convicted of a felony offense, a significant misdemeanor offense, multiple misdemeanor offenses, or otherwise pose a threat to national security or public safety;

  5. Are not above the age of thirty.

As with most prospective amnesties, it’s an open question whether the immigration bureaucracy will be able to meaningfully enforce these conditions.

One can imagine that the price for black market birth certificates, HS diplomas, and DD-214s just went up big time.

There is only 1 "condition". Being here illegally. If they aren't here, then no need for "amnesty".

Wait till you see the other ideas Barry has to win. I told you not to underestimate the power of the incumbent. He will now buy the job . The proceeds of legal plunder will now be handed out prodigiously.

How do you think so many corrupt professional criminals get to be called "congressman" for decades?

The question is, when will Congress?

It's not a matter of being unable to enforce the law, it's a matter of having the will to do so, or to be allowed to do so. The '86 amnesty went by the boards because they did not have the political will to do so. Large groups have an interest in not doing so.

The US Chamber of Commerce doesn't want it enforced because of the cheap labor in it. The left wants it because of the votes that are in it. In the end, what the US Chamber wants, will get the left what it wants, and part of that will be the death of the businesses that support the US Chamber.

Lenin was right in many ways about the US Businessman. They will sell the executioner the rope with which the businessman will be hung. He has target fixation on the bottom line and doesn't look beyond it to avoid the very problems he's creating for himself.

The US Chamber is made up of fools, and the left knows it. The effects they cause is supposed to be prevented by Government, but FedGov hasn't done it's job in a very long time.
