Toads Strangled in OKC

In Florida, where I live, we know that when the Heat builds up this time of year we’re likely to get a Thunder storm. That’s what happened last night in Oklahoma City. As is sometimes the case, the storm came late. But it was a toad-strangler.

It doesn't rain in southern California...
but it pours, man it pours.

My family was traveling on vacation the summer of '70 and we were on I-40 between Albuquerque and Gallup, NM, headed west when it cut lose. For about 5 minutes we could barely see 3 feet in front of the hood. Traffic came to a standstill.

QM: Oh, you poor bastard. I lived in NM for a year. Once we had a combination sandstorm and rainstorm. Eeek!
