Recapping last night’s results, there were no major Tea Party victories in the big races. Jesse Kelly lost in the Arizona special election. Bill Poliquin, arguably closest to a conservative favorite, lost in Maine. George Allen is no moderate Republican, but he faced a spirited challenge from a Tea Party activist who ended up getting less than a quarter of the vote. Nothing really for conservatives to be depressed about, but nothing to get excited about either.
