Well,
Scott Walker will still be governing Wisconsin tomorrow
morning. About ten minutes ago, Fox News called the Wisconsin
recall election for Scott Walker. With
41% of the vote in, Walker has 59% of the vote compared with
41% with Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett.
I don’t know if Walker will end up winning by 18 points but
I think the margin of victory is beyond our wildest imaginations.
But now there’s no ambiguity. It is very clear that a critical
majority of the people of Wisconsin are behind both Governor Walker
and his budgetary reforms.
Of course, it remains to be seen if this support for Walker will
translate into support for Mitt Romney in November. A lot can
happen in five months. But the seeds have been planted and they
have begun to germinate in Wisconsin and beyond.
UPDATE: It’s midnight and with 92% of the vote
counted, Walker has a nine point lead over Barrett (54% to
46%). While it’s not as high as the margin from earlier in the
evening, it remains a decisive victory for Walker and a
vote of confidence for the measures he has implemented. It
also exceeds his margin of victory over Barrett in 2010.

As that old basketball coach, Alex Hannum, once said, "Boys, it looks like the hay is in the barn."
Great job, Wisconsin. You've restored a little of my faith in humanity.

I think our various trolls have declared the death of the Tea Party prematurely. Well done Wisconsin.

We did it here in Wi. I went to the polls and every old person who hadn't voted for years was in line to get registered. The Republicans had a great out the vote program, for a great governor. I personally dragged a couple of my kids to the polls. They were happy to have voted. Everyone is high fiving around here.

good job, Wisconsin!

It was interesting to note in the lengthy AP article by Scott Baur about this in my morning paper that not one word was said about the size of the win (Walker "survived" and "beat back a challenge") but much was made of the fact that Walker out spent his opponent. The Democrats "spent millions" but were "hopelessly outspent" by Republicans.
The "drive by media" is still trying to control their spin on this election

Hate to see Jack happy, but even a Paulbot scumbag is right once in a while.
