Dear mr. R. Emmett Tyrrell Jr.;
While watching C-Span Tv this morning, I decided to call in and give my opinion. I am the caller "Byron from Cleveland Tn." that the host could not hear, as I was on my cell phone.
I wanted to tell you that you were correct on the old liberalism being dead. What has replaced it is communisn and socialism.
Although I am not a communist, I have been reading the communist propaganda for ten or eleven years. I like to know what our enemies are saying, therefore I occasionaly read data from the Communist Party USA.
The Communist Party USA had a report by Sam Webb, I beleive, that stated the progressives were going to get rid of all the "Blue Dog Demcrats", which mostly they have done.
My question to you is, why hasn't the Republican Party picked up on the so called "Progressives" that are nothing more than communist and socialist, and linked the Democratic Party to communism and socialism? This surely could be a winning strategy, if played correctly.
Allen West, the junior Congressman from Florida had it correct when he stated the Congressmen in the Progressive cacus were communist and socialist. Look it up for yourself and see how the Communist Party USA talks about them.
What is wrong about the Republican Party, at least here in Bradly County Tn., is there is rhere is no organization. We don't even have a Republican Party headquarters, therefore you can not even talk to anyone. We need some organization, if we are to defeat the Democrat Party and Obama in the November elections.
Thanks for a good program this morning. We need more programs like yours on C-SPAN TV. We need to inform the general public to what is really happening in government. We are on the verge of socialism and no one seems to be aware of it or they just don't care.
