Bob Grant| 5.20.12 @ 9:24AM
Not a bad commercial. I'm not sure why he chose an exploding watermelon. Maybe he's going to pick Gallagher as his VP.
Dixie Pixie| 5.20.12 @ 7:29PM
Gallagher, Biden or Mr X.
Tough choice.
I will go with Door 3.
Bob Grant | 5.20.12 @ 11:03PM
Maybe he could bring back Perot's VP choice in '92, James "why am I here" Stockdale.
Clint| 5.20.12 @ 9:36AM
That's America On Tarp.
Bob Grant| 5.20.12 @ 11:45AM
And exploding bank or shredded dollar bill would be more appropriate.
Bob Grant| 5.20.12 @ 11:46AM
An exploding bank. I swear I can speak English.
Bob Grant| 5.20.12 @ 10:22AM
Now's not the time for a third party candidate. In some campaign seasons, a third party candidacy is appropriate (1992 comes to mind), as the condition of the country allows for challenging the political system because not much is on the line, i.e., the country is able to withstand a political shakeup.
That is certainly not the case in this election cycle. We've got ONE more chance to steer the country in the right direction via the traditional political system (the republican party).
If it fails and obama is reelected (God forbid), let the shakeup begin to salvage what's left of our country the next time around.
Clint| 5.20.12 @ 11:32AM
What "We" RINO-CINO Mittens' Kitten, Grant.
Obama Is A Tarpster, And Romney Is A Tarpster.
Obama Orchestrated Obamacare, And Romney Orchestrated Romneycare.
Bob Grant| 5.20.12 @ 11:45AM
Clint,
Quit spreading the lie that there's no difference between Obama and Romney.
You're playing right into the hands of Team Obama.
Maybe that's your goal.
Clint| 5.21.12 @ 9:56AM
Mittens' Kitten, Grant Plays Into The Hands Of Ruling Elites' RINO-CINO Agenda.
Obviously, That's Grant's Goal.
I Wrote,
" Obama Orchestrated Obamacare, And Romney Orchestrated Romneycare."
That's A Truth, Sport.
Quartermaster| 5.22.12 @ 7:15PM
Bob, it would be very nice if there really were a difference between the two. There's not enough of a difference to really matter. The only reason to vote Mittens is because we just might get lucky. Luck, however, is a terrible thing to bet on.

How about an audio of the day, listen to this from rightscoop, from a high school classroom
"This is the most uneducated, absurd audio I think I’ve ever heard from a teacher. In response to a short discussion on Romney having ‘bullied’ a student when he was in high school, a student in the North Rowan High School class suggested that Obama was also a bully in grade school. The teacher then yelled at the student for criticizing Obama because he’s a sitting president. But the student argued that they are both equal, that they are both men and that if you are going to criticize one side, you have to criticize the other. But the teacher argued the opposite, saying that they were not equal because Obama IS the president and Romney is simply running for president, and because of that we can’t say anything bad about Obama but we can about Romney. This teacher, who sounds African American based on the audio, even tried to make the case that saying bad things about a sitting president will get your arrested. Yeah, I’m not kidding.
According to the school system, this unidentified teacher still remains in the classroom."

Political insanity: electing the same faces and expecting different results.

OK, let's go ahead and slap this stuff down, so it can be looked back in the years to come and I can be seen as the prophet I will be known as:
The Paul/Johnson approach is fundamentally wrong because it focuses on the US and ignores overseas horrors that are coming. These are two fold: 1) the population implosion among European nations is already causing its oncoming economic collapse (which is why I continue to hold gold even though I think Romney will win this year---I'm thinking 10-20 years downline), with subsequent horrific problems for the global economic system coming on in waves, and 2) Islam, as the only population growth religious/totalitarian system, is going to be a terrible adversary, more on a par with Nazism than Communism.
So, it is a good bet to invest in energy and food, as these will become harder to come by outside the US. I've also invested in PM (Pall Mall International) as I want many, many foreigners to get lung CA and die, and cigarettes sell well in good times and bad.
I grow tired of the non-interventionist/isolationist dispute. The fact is, we have more military power than any country has ever had, and it is foolish not to pund our enemies as a warning to others of what will happen to them if they cross us. I do not support trying to civilize Islamic madmen. But killing them until they leave us alone is excellent policy.
In addition, of course, on a personal note---Gary Johnson is the reason New Mexico is begging for MDs, particularly Mental Health physicians. He singlehandedly made New Mexico the least favorite place for experts in serious mental illness to want to practice in the US.
Occam's Tool| 5.20.12 @ 11:46PM
Sorry: "pound our enemies."
Bob Grant | 5.21.12 @ 12:20AM
Yea, I figured it was either "pound" or "pun", as in throwing non-stop barrages of puns toward our enemies until they submit...could be the new weapon of mass destruction for third world imbeciles which are of unlimited supply in the Middle East.

Ronald Reagan,
" Perhaps we didn't appreciate fully enough the depth of the hatred and the complexity of the problems that made the Middle East such a jungle. Perhaps the idea of a suicide car bomber committing mass murder to gain instant entry to Paradise was so foreign to our own values and consciousness that it did not create in us the concern for the marines' safety that it should have.
In the weeks immediately after the bombing, I believed the last thing that we should do was turn tail and leave. Yet the irrationality of Middle Eastern politics forced us to rethink our policy there. If there would be some rethinking of policy before our men die, we would be a lot better off. If that policy had changed towards more of a neutral position and neutrality, those 241 marines would be alive today."

Are we really supposed to be happy that he had one billion dollars that was collected from taxpayers just laying around in the government coffers instead of giving it back to the citizens?
