Goldberg's creative example of Hillary Clinton's 2008 assessment of Obama being a man of words and no action was indeed classic! I deal with the manipulation of language with my own blog so Jeff's piece will be a perennial favorite of mine.

Mr. Goldberg’s article was both amusing and illustrative. It is, as Mr. Kaminsky describes it, tragic-comic.
Judge Robert Bork wrote a book some years back entitled “Slouching Towards Gomorrah” (or something close). After reading Mr. Goldberg’s piece, I think I want to copyright “Chuckling Towards Armageddon” ®.

So Mr. Goldberg, a neocon nut from way back, thinks we should attack Syria? I guess he doesn't care that what happened to the Christians in Egypt will also happen to the Christians in Syria.
As the Iraq debacle has shown, far better for the devil we know vs. the devil we dont know.
