A Long Record of Obamite Thuggery

The US yes. but we expect too much from Obama if we expect him to do what is right.
David W| 5.2.12 @ 6:05PM
Ah, but if Obama ticks off the Communist Chinese then who is going to sponsor his next stimulus?
albert constantine jr.| 5.2.12 @ 6:21PM
I'm sure they convinced Mr. Chen to go back to his captors, as Eric Holder was about to reassemble the old Elian Gonzalez SWAT team and dispatch them to Peking (I'm sorry, we say BAY - zhing today, like POK ee ston).
W| 5.2.12 @ 6:54PM
Clinton refused to capture Osama three or four times on some flimsy argumetns but had no qualms about using armed marshalls to caputre a ten year old boy to send to Cuba. And Clinton had more Americans killed at Waco than terrorrists during his eight years.
Holder worked in Reno's Justice Dept.
C Bowen | 5.2.12 @ 7:49PM
It was United States policy, backed by Dole and McCain and the neoconservatives, to ally with Osama's network in Kosovo. There is some Deep State politics there that nobody has yet wanted to touch.
There was a Republican report of the time that said as much (but left out Dole and McCain's name.)
albert constantine jr.| 5.2.12 @ 8:29PM
Hoder was the number 2 or 3 in reno's Justice Department. He was on record after Easter in 2000 saying the INS tactical team didn't need a search warrant, and then someone showed him that they actually had a search warrant (albeit a poorly constructed one where suddenly the federal Immigration & Naturalization Service SWAT team became an agent to enforce Florida's Family Court custody order rather than a federal law).

Is a moral stand such an unfamiliar stance for the Speaker of the House that it must be brought up in a matter that should be handled by the Executive's diplomatic branch?
A real moral stand would have him using the power of the purse strings, which the House has, to bring about cooperation from China on this matter instead of burbleing "Shame on you, China! You should stop that kind of stuff!" Did he cry after that statement to show his great concern?
Bob S| 5.3.12 @ 12:29AM
They tried that against the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, and against the Palestinians, cutting off aid for both. Ultimately, Obama ignored the House on both counts and gave aid to these groups anyway.
A real moral stand would be holding Obama accountable for his blatant disregard for Congress.
JimH| 5.3.12 @ 12:48PM
He will no longer buy golf ball made in China.
JmsA| 5.2.12 @ 9:27PM
These are communists we're talking about. Shame is alien to them.
Bob S| 5.3.12 @ 12:27AM
It wasn't politically expedient for Obama to do anything about it, so he ignored it.
Paul McGrath| 5.3.12 @ 2:08AM
Hey, President. Yeah. You. Barack. He could be your son. Chen Guangcheng. Yeah. Him. He could be your son.

i am sure you right
ncatty| 5.3.12 @ 9:30AM
I am interested in how someone gets into one of our Embassies and claims protection. When asked their business do they say "I am staying" or what?
Dan| 5.3.12 @ 10:09AM
The Speaker said he was "deeply disturbed" and you thought that such a minor phrasing was equal to the case, equal to the situation, equal to the outrage...........????????
ncatty| 5.3.12 @ 11:22AM
How is Chen different from someone who crosses the border without documentation?
Dan| 5.3.12 @ 11:47AM
The political situation, the military situation, the world situation, the human rights situation, all of that makes American inaction appalling.
This situation represents a massive, public capitulation of American leadership of human rights.
And the fact that Chen is a pro-life activist certainly informed the actions of obama and his administration.
ncatty| 5.3.12 @ 12:17PM
So what would you do?
Dan| 5.3.12 @ 1:51PM
Raise holy Hell about it!
JmsA| 5.3.12 @ 3:54PM
I'd go looking for some Cuban cigars. Well, that's what I think you'd do. But more to the point, Mr. Chen was seeking political asylum in our embassy, according to well established international law, from a dictatorial regime which murders those like him who oppose its policies, and then sends the bill for the bullet used to kill him/her, to the family. Let me know if you need any further help.
JmsA| 5.3.12 @ 3:59PM
My post above was meant for ncatty, whose inability to grasp the concept of totalitarian dictatorhip remains well in place. Too bad Mr. Chen Guangcheng did not trade in Cuban cigars, ncatty would be all over it and defending his basic human rights.
ncatty| 5.4.12 @ 9:22AM
Isn't our embassy going to get crowded?
ReneeK| 5.4.12 @ 12:34PM
Isn't it funny how Democrats become so completely blasé and cynical about human rights as soon as one of their own is in the White House? Suddenly it's "realpolitik" all the way, baby!
Oldefarte| 5.3.12 @ 11:44AM
Although Boehner's comments regarding Chen are admirable indeed, his other statements recently regarding DEMOCRATS and this POTUS are more pertinent to the dire circumstances now facing this nation. IMHO those who critisize this man as being a RINO etc are dispicable prostitutes and STUPID additionally. I mean, come on......Boehner in comparison to Nancy Pilosi or Tip O'Neill etc? This guy is doing a good and effective job as Speaker and to critisize him for anything is asinine and ludicrous. As a reminder of the opposite of the Boehners out there and what is truly important on 11/6/12, try the following:

randyinrocklin| 5.3.12 @ 11:51AM
did Boehner cry? what an abject failure of leadership this POS has been this cycle.
Oldefarte| 5.3.12 @ 12:28PM
GeeWiz, the TAS-PARAGRAPH-CAPITALIZATION SWAT TEAM ought to have a field day with your posting!!!!!!!
Oldefarte| 5.3.12 @ 12:30PM
PS: At least Boehner didn't proclaim the asinine stupidity of [concerning WELFARECARE] .....YOU'LL HAVE TO READ IT TO DISCOVER WHATS IN IT. Talk about a FEMALE DOG POS, right?????
mjs_pa| 5.3.12 @ 1:10PM
Why does the speaker only take firm stands on issues he has no control over? I wish he was as adamant regarding government spending and defunding obamacare.
Oldefarte| 5.3.12 @ 4:03PM
Yeah, I wish also that the former Speaker had been against excessive governmental spending....especially regarding her use of military jets to fly her between DC and SF constantly [all at taxpayer expense]; but what the hay right, since CIA's Panella now does the same thing!!!
Oldefarte| 5.3.12 @ 4:03PM
Correction: Leon Panetta....sorry!!!
