At CFIF, I blast Eric Holder for his continuing effort to undermine fire departments nationwide out of a warped sense of racial justice.

Corrupt Attorney General Eric Holder’s war on white people continues. In its latest installment, the Justice Department on Monday sued the city of Jacksonville, FL, to force the city to jettison the written promotion exams in its fire department. According to Holder and his leading racialist instigator, civil rights division chief Thomas Perez, black people can’t be expected to decipher written questions about firefighting, and it is therefore against the law to ask them to do so.

In today’s Justice Department, the soft bigotry of low expectations has joined with the hard bigotry of seeing whites as racists to create a toxic brew of racial tension…..

You're doing a great job, Quin. Keep it up. Don't doubt that this is putting heavy pressure on Holder. Also don't doubt that there will be a backlash. Stay brave.

I, for one, am very proud of you, and proud to subscribe to this site.

Can we again thank the 17 (or was it 19) R senators who voted to confirm him as well as the many R Beltway insiders who oozed praise over him, knowing all the while of his scummy behavior with March Rich and others.

The Republican Senators need to start behaving more like Obama did with the unbelievably well qualified Chief Justice Roberts was nominated, especially since Sotomayor was/is a moron (Kagan is, too, but at least she was Dean of HLS). Every punch needs to be answered.

Holder must be impeached; he cannot be allowed remain in office or even be forced to resign. The only acceptable solution is the House impeaching him.

Either the House impeaches him, or the House fails in their duty to uphold the Constitution.

Fast and Furious is the greatest scandal in our political history, without any other scandal really close.

Teapot Dome concerned money, and though people were wiped out, and it was an international scandal, there weren't piles and piles of corpses.

Watergate concerned a break-in into an auxiliary headquarters of the DNC, in an election that was entirely a foregone conclusion. With or without all the misdeeds of the Nixon reelection effort, nobody was going to vote for McGovern anyway. Nobody!

All we're getting from the House leadership is endless bemoaning of the little coverage the scandal has received from the media. If they desire the scandal covered as it ought to be, then they must treat the scandal as the treatment warrants.

And this scandal warrants impeachment proceedings against the sitting Attorney General of the United States.

It warrants people losing their law license.

It warrants people's savings being wiped out in legal fees.

It warrants people going to trial, people ending up behind bars.

Everything this administration does is designed to thwart efficiency and competency -- thereby promoting a defeatist and despairing populace; meanwhile, it advocates for affirmative action to place incompetents in positions where they must eventually fail, no matter how low the standards for entry. In this way, the powers that be rob the people of the right to be served by the best-equipped persons available for the job.

What is it about the communist mind-set that will not face reality? These people are total frauds; from one side of their mouths they spout platitudes about fairness, while from the other side they issue edicts that ensure that no one will be treated fairly -- certainly not the citizens dependent upon competent public servants, whose numbers are dwindling even as I write.

Every one of the RepubuRats who voted to confirm Erik "the Red" as Attorney General should be defeated. If they can't be competent to screen appointees, just why do we need these people in the Senate? That is Alexander , Bond,
Chambliss, Collins, Corker, Graham, Grassley, Hatch, Isakson, Lugar, McCain, Murkowski, and Sessions.

I know people at a number of Fire Departments across the country. Promotion is not based on written test alone, but includes an interview before a committee. A number of people have to take the written test more than once. The questions are based on the individuals best judgement in a number of scenarios. In the Fire Service, if a firefighter has poor judgement in a situation, he/she can get people killed. Besides Holder's interference is saying that Blacks are too stupid to pass this type of test. That is NOT true. Now, there will be considerable resentment and anger in that Dept., which will interfere with the effectiveness of them as a unit. Holder needs to stay on a Federal level and out of a state's business.

darcy| 4.25.12 @ 7:05PM

What Holder needs is a pink slip.

albert constantine jr.| 4.25.12 @ 9:42PM

I'm sure it would clash with the tie he has on.

rose| 4.25.12 @ 10:00PM

Holder does realize that he does severe injustice to black people when stating that they are in no way intelligent enough to decipher a written exam, doesn't he? If i were a black member of the Jacksonville F.D. I personally would be outraged by his assumption and allegation, and be asking him to cease further action. But, somehow I suspect instead, they are being lulled into the sense that he is 'looking out for them'.

What will happen when the inept, untrained, unqualified firefighter causes someone to lose their life? I suppose it won't matter at all if that someone is white.

Pecos Pete| 4.26.12 @ 10:50AM

And what's happening with the Secret Service? Hmmmm?

ncatty| 4.26.12 @ 11:08AM

The solution is to have two fire departments in each jurisdiction. One is all-black and the other is all-white. The white FD answers calls from white folks whose property is burning and the black FD does the same for black residents. All solved.

Quin, possibly if those written exams had such questions contained in them as: WHAT IS THE DATE OF MLK'S BIRTHDAY?; ON WHAT TYPE VEHICLE WAS ROSA PARKS ASKED TO MOVE TO A DIFFERENT SEAT?; WHO IS KAREEM ABDUL JABBAR? WHAT SPORT DOES TIGER WOODS PARTICIPATE IN?; CONDI RICE WAS SECRETARY OF WHAT FEDERAL GOVERNMENTAL DEPARTMENT?; WHAT YEAR WAS BROWN VS. BD. OF ED. ENACTED? WHAT GOVERNMENTAL DEPARTMENT HANDS OUT FOOD STAMPS?; CAN YOU NAME ANY OF DENZEL WASHIBNGTON'S MOVIES?; WHO IS NOW POTUS?; ETC!!!!!!!!!!

When it comes time for Stedman (Holder) to kneel in front of the guillotine for his crimes against humanity I wanna be the one who pulls the lever that severs him filthy head. My services will be free of course.
