The Boston Globe has a new poll out showing Sen. Scott Brown (R-MA) locked in a dead heat with his likely Democratic challenger Elizabeth Warren. The exact numbers are Brown 37 percent and Warren 35 percent with 26 percent undecided. Interestingly, neither side’s attacks on the other seem to be sticking:

Few poll respondents associated her with the “Harvard elitist’’ label that Brown has tried to tag her with. Likewise, only one in five of those surveyed agree with Warren’s argument that Brown is marching in lockstep with the Republicans.

The race will likely hinge on undecided independents and moderate to conservative Democrats. Brown currently leads among the first group, Warren the second, but about a third of each bloc hasn’t made their mind up yet.

What is a conservative Democrat? If they are conservative why be a Democrat?

Usually, they're in the J.Kennedy mold: Fiscally Liberal but Politically/Militarily Conservative. NOT like Ted Kennedy.

Arguably, Lieberman met that description, though he was primaried out of the party in 2006, and supported McCain in 2008. Likewise, Zell Miller of GA was kind of big government put pro-defense, and supported Bush over Kerry in 2004. In Mass., some said Silber met that definition when he ran against his Republican opponent (I think it was William Weld, and he lost), but there are fewer and fewer examples in this century.

goodbye and good riddance for RINO Scott Brown. You threw the TEA under the bus after getting elected. we don't need slime bags like you representing us conservatives.

“Scott Brown has disappointed us a few times,” Carlos Hernandez, state coordinator for the Tea Party Patriots, told TheDC. “So are we going to go out there and hold signs for him everyday? I don’t think so.”
