Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush has
endorsed Mitt Romney following his decisive win in the Illinois
GOP Primary last night.
I recall when former conservative Democrat Congressman Artur
Davis wrote an
article at NRO before the Florida GOP primary urging
Republicans to draft Bush. Frankly, I don’t think this resonated
with a lot of conservative activists. Fair or not, he would have
been judged against his brother (and for that matter his father).
Tea Party populism and political dynasties aren’t a good mix. Yes,
a case could have been made that he would have beat Obama in
Florida. But GOP chances in Florida also improve if Marco Rubio is
put on the ticket.
The question is whether this will cause Republicans to coalesce
around Romney or if Republican voters stand up and say they don’t
want to be told for whom to cast their ballots. I suspect it will
be more the latter than the former at least for now given that Rick
Santorum will probably have a convincing win in Louisiana on
Saturday.

Wow, I'm so excited......Mittens endorsed by Jeb "no Latino left behind" Bush.
The Beltway/Establishment/Neocons/RINO's must be thrilled.

Jeb knows that a 2012 Romney nomination makes his own run in 2016 more plausible. First they must get rid of that pesky Tea Party.

The fact that ol' Jeb's endorsement was held out until now...as if anybody with a brain thought it would be something other than the expected Romney nod...shows just how out of t0uch the entrenched Republican machine doesn't have a clue about much of anything...
I mean COME ON MAN! If anyone actually thought he would endorse anybody else other than Romney...please Identify yourself...I need a good laugh.

Isn't this just amazing!
Jeb comes crawling out from the woodwork, now that it's safe supposedly, and endorses Romney!
What a piece of work!
Who's next?
Can Barbara be far behind?

Jeb, et al, aren't telling Republican voters who to vote for, they've let the voters choose. When are Republican voters gonna wake up and count the delegates? Mitt's won and every day that goes by helps "The One" in November. Mitt's obviously not perfect but, given the candidates that were willing to run this year, he's the last man standing. Get over it!

"letting the voters choose"...
Not been watching politics long huh there fella?
After that...I think all of us sourbutt's need a good sermon about how the Republicans and Democrats need to "reach across the isle" to "get something done for the American people"....
Oh yeah...and you really need to post at least one comment on how "congress gives themselves pay raises" and we should "throw all the bums out."
Witnessing someone new to politics is alot like watching someone on their first mission in a combat zone. Everybody know it...everybody sees it...except them.
Go make a donation to the RNC there Champ!

For anyone who was still doubtful whether Romney was a RINO, this should complete the proof.
I understand Dubya was asked to endorse as well, but he said, "Nah. Mitt's too liberal for me."
But Romney ought to be able to buy Gingrich's endorsement soon, considering how fast Newt's going into the red, and that might help.
