U.S. Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) has a great column out explaining why Obama’s abortifacient mandate is a “fee on faith.” Please read.

Not to take anything away from her excellent column, but I think that framing the issue exclusively in religious terms is a mistake. Yes, stomping all over freedom of conscience is loathsome, but that's just the icing on the cake. If Big Brother can order one group of citizens to supply "free" goods to another group, liberty is dead. It is claimed that people require contraceptives for their well-being and cannot afford them. Why stop there? Surely there are many far more essential items that some people may find burdensome to pay for. From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs? Even if there were no religious objections whatever, this would still be an outrage against liberty. And it won't be the last one.

Please say that again....Louder!

Obama's DoJ would have probably told Sebelius it's constitutional anyway. The Obama DoJ doesn't concern itself with constitutional or legal justice, only with social justice. That, and handing over dangerous weapons to Mexican cartels.

Rep. Marsha Blackburn voted to fund Planned Parenthood in Bush budget after Bush budget, and like Santorum who happily states he is all for taxpayers funding birth control pills, we are suppose to believe that all of a sudden things have gone too far?

This battle was lost a long time ago.

Can anyone here explain what good does the Catholic Church's indignation over the government's forcing of birth control on their institutions when THIS is allowed to occur internally within the Church????? :

'....Catholic Priest Who Denied Communion to Lesbian Placed on Leave Monday, March 12, 2012 02:16 PM By: Henry J. Reske.A suburban Washington, D.C., Catholic priest who denied Communion to a lesbian at her mother’s funeral Mass last month has been placed on leave. The announcement, made in a letter dated March 9 from Bishop Barry Knestout to priests in the Washington Archdiocese, does not specifically state why the Rev. Marcel Guarnizo was barred from the ministry, The Breaking News Blog of The Washington Post reported. The punishment was for “engaging in intimidating behavior toward parish staff and others that is incompatible with proper priestly ministry,” the Post quoted the letter as saying.
The letter was read aloud at all Masses this weekend at Maryland’s St. John Neumann by the Rev. Thomas LaHood, who said the removal was not related to the funeral incident, the Post reported.Following the funeral incident, the archdiocese issued an apology to the woman, Barbara Johnson, and sent a letter that said denying Communion is against the policy of Archbishop Donald Wuerl.....'

Tu*dwipe, don't attempt to tell me what the Catholic Church is or is not doing! Answer the GD question above if you're intelligent [doubtful] enough to be able to use your own wods/thoughts [instead of your usual copy/pasting of others']. Why is the GD Church reprimanding priests for deny the Eucharist to HOMOSEXUALS when they profess to be anti-pedifile/homosexual priest oriented? Isn't that talking out of two sides of their collective mouths? Answer the GD question, moron!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oldefarte| 3.13.12 @ 1:19PM

PS: Answer my numerous questions concerning your exclusive use of the phrase 'Israel Firster' that was originated and coined by MEDIA MATTERS? Why are you the one and only user of that phrase other than the MEDIA MATTERS crowd [which are kissing/sucking the WH boys constantly]????????????
