Thank you Aaron… Nice comments and good catch. The Media Research Center was presenting it as new, and Breitbart.com is attacking Buzzfeed for scooping and “selectively editing” the video.
Prof. Derrick Bell is a radical academic tied to Jeremiah Wright and is being honored in the video. The more controversial portions of the tape will be aired tonight on The Sean Hannity TV show.
This is the 2nd time in a month ex-Politico Ben Smith at Buzzfeed has been accused of using selectively edited material as a scoop. It also appears this is one of the tapes Andrew Breitbart promised to release.

similar footage included in this 2009 PBS frontline program (Chapter 3 of 6). The editing though in this PBS program breaks around commentary at the point I was interested about in the BuzzFeed released tape at (1:08-1:09) where audio is cut and then comes disjointedly back up for the last 7 or so seconds. So, I'm interested in Breitbarts team filling in the blanks with better source material if they have it. I was surprised BuzzFeed didn't hear the obvious problem in the video they released. Big oversight on BuzzFeeds part that they didn't commnet on it when they released it. So the Bigs still scooped the story that the tape appears selectively edited by someone. I bet they have more.

Maybe you could try reporting the whole story with some details.
If Smith says he has not edited anything, then what this about Hannity showing the edited stuff and more of the tape?Why release this only on Hannity? Is Hannity working this story with the Breitbart people? Why release anything until the whole thing is obtained or there is something actually worth seeing?
What the hell is the LA Times, a news outlet, doing with stuff that they refuse to let the public see under lock and key? Can they be sued to release them? Do they own these tapes like a copyright or something and why is ther only one copy?

You should look back at Breitbart reporting. They do not appear to me to be accusing BuzzFeed of selectively editing, they are saying BuzzFeed / Ben Smith released a selectively edited tape...selectively edited by someone.
