Here. The outrages never cease.

You are correct that it is an outrage, but it's more than "over-regulation"...

It's deliberate Sabotage, but hey...

49.5% of the electorate now pays NO TAXES...as of today...so what do they care and we know who they vote for. That leave us needing to get 99.5% of the remaining 50.5% to reach 50% in the next election...

So, it's only the beginning.

By the way Mr. Hillyer...poor ol' Santorum is trying to survive a Tsunami out there from all directions...Now sure would be a good time to start whacking Romney with those 10 in a row hit pieces that you whack Newt with!!!

Heck, even Ron Paul is guarding Mitt's flank, so Santorum needs all the help he can get!

WL| 2.22.12 @ 11:43AM

By the way...is anbody going to give a big defense of Santorum's comments back a few years ago???

I mean...heck...the MSM and even Chris Christie are out there piling on...

When if you know anything about the Bible at all...you believe what he said...

So essentially...anyone who actually believes the Bible's teachings and prophesy...is a KOOK now...

This war on Christianity is getting out of control.

Drek| 2.22.12 @ 1:58PM

Your point is accurate by the way WL.

Christ came to save man from the domination of him who reigns over the realm and the forces of glittering darkness. Every man was locked in a lonely, dour struggle against "the strongman." But the Incarnation announced that man has an ally who shatters the chains that dragged the souls of men to damnation.

It's impossible to be a Christian without en passant accepting the reality of Satan.

Drek| 2.22.12 @ 2:02PM

BUT WL, that's not really the point though.

This is just another instance where Santorum indulged his penchant for sermonizing. With him it's an itch, and he doesn't have the self-control to overcome it.

Santorum has two choices:
1} try to ignore it and focus on the economy; and
2} immerse himself all the more deeply in the issue, and extend his remarks to embrace the entirety of America's Christian culture.

If I were him, I'd go the latter route. Raise the bet! And by raising the bet go directly after Obama's dubious Christianity.

WL| 2.22.12 @ 4:35PM

Yeah, I see what you mean. He does seem to preach alot.

I really like the "extend his remarks...America's Christian culture." idea... I think some good communications advice could really do him some good to insert that into his regular comments and speeches...if he does that we might have us a really good candidate.

"Dubious"...ha! you got that right!!!

Sounds familiar. With the ban of cheap harmless R-12 for a bogus ozone scare automobiles were forced to use the more hazardous and expensive R-134. Of course following th money leads to the bogus science funded by Dupont who's patents were expiring on the cheap R-12. Suddenly R-134 is now the big name and guess who supplies it to the world. DUPONT!!!

Yes I know it's unthinkable to be sceptical because the government is always looking out for our best interests but I have a feeling there is a chemical company riding in on a white horse with a new phthalate free plastic formulation to save the world. There is no way there is a single person smart enough in the FDA or EPA to come up with this idea on their own. Not one.

Drek| 2.22.12 @ 1:54PM

Well Quin,

no commentary on Senator Church Lady today?

Trying to ignore his statements, trying to ignore his numbers dropping, isn't going to cut it.

You told us you were Santorum through thick and thin.

Well the Sweater Vest is in trouble, and it isn't getting any better by his supporters standing there at the scene of the train crash, saying: "Nothing to see here, move along....."

Don't worry Quin, --------------- we have a cabin in steerage reserved for you on the USS Newt Gingrich.

Oldefarte| 2.22.12 @ 3:39PM

As a play on an old saying, SAVE YOUR NEWT DOLLARS, CAUSE THE GINGRICH MAN MAY RISE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!

W| 2.22.12 @ 3:55PM

This is government by unelected bureacrats in the various agencies. This is another reason we must beat Obama so the Rep president can replace the heads of these agencies, and stop these regulations that are killing the economy and increasing the power of the nanny state.
