The Hill is reporting that “The White House will announce a retreat from its controversial rule requiring religious organizations like charities and hospitals to include contraception in their healthcare plans.”

They had little choice given how damaging this had become to them politically.

If the report is true, let’s listen for screams of Barbara Boxer and friends talking about “restricting access” when nothing of the sort is happening.

More to come…

I hope you are right Ross. Obama was insane to let this go through in an election year. No Democrat has ever been elected in this country, for 150 years ,without a majority of the Catholic vote.

You really don't understand what he represents, do you?

He's been Facilitating the MURDER of Hundreds of Mexicans, with an ILLEGAL Gun Running Operation, to arm the Mexican Drug Cartels, so they can rack up a Body Count that HE CAN EXPLOIT, in his Quest to Disarm the Masses.

Do you really need more insight as to what he is Capable of? Of WHO and WHAT this Creature is?

This is NOT about Health Care or Birth Control.

This is a Frontal Assault on the 1st Amendments' Guarantees of Religious Freedom.

Nothing more.

In Nazi Germany, all of the Christian Trappings were taken down from the Churches. Adolph Hitler's Image, replaced CHRISTS'.

In 2009. Barack Hussein refused to speak at Georgetown University, unless, and until, all of the References to CHRIST were removed from the room.

Any Questions?

No, no, I want the administration to show some backbone and carry this fight all the way to the election.

I imagine the walk back will be as powerful as his signing statement for Obamacare to get that filthy lying scumbag asshat Bart Stupak's signature.

It will be something like this.

"Don't worry folks. Let me be perfectly clear. While requiring religious insurance organizations to pay for abortions, sterilizations, day after pills, condoms, patches, and pills, I will not force them to pay for them."

This about more than trampling the First Amendment rights of Catholics. Yes, this violates the free exercise clause by preventing Catholics from observing their faith, and it violates the establishment clause by making Catholics adhere to the Left's secular religion of death (in which contraception and birth control are sacraments), and it violates free speech by making Catholics pay to advise people and advocate on abortion and contraceptive options.

But the larger issue is that by running schools, hospitals and soup kitchens, Catholics have intruded on a field the Left feels they should have a monpoly; education, health care (which OBamacare takes over) and charity (which is replaved by secular entitlement welfare). Catholics are left with the choice of violating their faith, or getting out of education, health care and charitable works, leaving the Government controlling all three fields.

Catholics could be exempt from the Sebelius rule if their hospitals, schools, and charities only help Catholics. As a Catholic myself, when we see our brother or sister in need, we do not ask, "are you Catholic?" We ask, "are you hungry?" "Are you sick?" "Are you homeless?"

I want to closed with a Bible paasage that my old Aunt asked to be read at her funeral a few months ago when she died at age 91. "I look to the hills and I ask, 'from where will my help come?' It shall come from the Lord." (sorry I do not know the citation).

The retreat is temporary. Once the election is over the rule will be back.

He just rephrased it a different way, but HE DID NOT RELENT!
