When asked what he would do differently, Ron Paul said he would improve his messaging and learn how to speak more slowly.

What Ron Paul needs is a voice coach. Aside from his odious foreign policy, Paul’s biggest single liability is his voice. He sounds like Walter Brennan on speed. The Leader of the Free World needs to have an authoritative yet reassuring voice. Paul has neither and as long as that is the case he will not inspire the confidence necessary to be elected President.

You need to grow up. Name calling is for children, and naughty children at that.

So Jr., what DSM IV diagnosis do you think Ron Paul has.

" CBS Poll: Independents Prefer Ron Paul Vs Obama
In a head to head match up with incumbent President Barack Obama, the indie voter chooses Ron Paul, a CBS News poll suggested on Monday.

A total of 47% of independent voters said they would choose Ron Paul compared to 45% of independent voters choosing Mitt Romney against Obama, and 41% of independents saying they would choose Rick Santorum. If a Paul-Obama showdown were ever to take place, 47% of independent voters would vote for Paul, 81% republicans and 10% Democrats for a total of 45% of the vote. Obama would get just 40% of the independent vote in that contest, with 85% of the Democrats choosing Obama and 9% of Republicans choosing the President on election day in November. Obama would win the general election by a narrow one point margin if the election was held today between the two."

It's as easy as pressing a button folks...

Push the button and the weirdo can't get out his usual name calling fast enough...

You have to laugh though...it's kinda funny.

I never respond to Clint, but I must say that at certain times in history supporting another has been the best and most important thing America could possibly do.
I am reminded of the few years prior to Pearl Harbor.
American policy was totally "England firster".
At that time, we were too pussied to actually fight, and held Englands coat while they fought what would become our fight.
Similar to today re: Israel vs. Islam.
Just sayin', Clint.

A functioning moral compass would help Paul more than anything...

"In 2005, 2007, 2009, and again in 2011, Dr.Ron Paul introduced the Sanctity of Life Act, which would have life defined as beginning at conception at the Federal level."

"Palmetto State Tea Party favorite and GOP heavyweight goes all in for Ron Paul

COLUMBIA, SC – 2012 Republican Presidential candidate Ron Paul received today the key endorsement of tea party favorite and South Carolina political heavyweight, state Sen. Tom Davis (R-Beaufort).

GOP presidential candidate Ron Paul received what his campaign described as a “game changing” endorsement Sunday, as influential South Carolina State Senator Tom Davis, officially gave his support to Paul.

The Senator, a heavyweight fiscal conservative in the South Carolina General Assembly, is extremely well regarded amongst Republicans and Tea Party activists and will undoubtedly bring voters to Ron Paul’s campaign ahead of the “First in the South” primary."

9thPC, someone who carries water for Morris Dees doesn't need to lecture anyone about a moral compass.

It really slays me when someone with ties to Duke, StormFront, Pro-Choice on abortion, and Jihadism lectures us about morality. LOL!

Goldstein thinks going bankrupt spending trillions overseas fighting BS wars against third world hell holes is a good foreign policy.

As long as Goldstein doesn't have to fight them wars and MOST IMPORTANT doesn't pay more taxes. Let's go another Trillion into debt, what the hell!

"The once honorable party of Ronald Reagan and Barry Goldwater, whose organizing principle was less government and more freedom is now dominated by soulless, gutless access sellers who call principled conservatives "sexists and elitists" but whose main job is to convince Republican lawmakers to do un-Republican things. The party is dominated now by these feather merchants and screaming blonde bimbos. The Republican Party has reached its "thermidor". The only way to save this village is to destroy it."

The Paulists don't care about his voice, but his message.

Dan Phillips| 1.19.12 @ 11:01PM

The President of the United States IS NOT the Leader of the Free World. Where is that in the Constitution? That kind of conceit is one of the major flaws of interventionism. The President of the United States is the President of the United States only.

That said, I do think Paul's voice is a problem although if it is a barrier between him and the Presidency then that doesn't speak well of the electorate. His campaign should recognize it and get him some coaching.

Justin| 1.19.12 @ 11:47PM

As an ardent Ron Paul supporter, I must agree that his mannerisms, tendency to ramble, and voice can distract from his message. He's admitted his not a perfect messenger. I hope he can do better. If I want to see a good looking smooth talker I'll watch a movie. When I want a thought-provoking teaching on the principles of government and it's role in the lives of its citizens and the world, I turn to Ron Paul. I pray the rest of the country takes the time I have to understand him.

WL| 1.20.12 @ 12:25AM

They won't. So give it up and pop in that DVD...
Actually, you can see Ron Paul in his new flick out this winter...

How about a brain transplant for Paul? Maybe not. The brain might reject the body.

'The Leader of the Free World needs to have an authoritative yet reassuring voice.' - Saruman for president?

Mike Mahoney| 1.20.12 @ 4:32PM

Good advice. Obviously someone has already got to Paul about it. Sure does reinforce the shallowness of the electorate. But then we knew that when they fell for the silver tongued mess we got stuck with, now.

Annette Estes | 1.27.12 @ 12:49PM

I gave Ron Paul a letter when he was in Greenville, SC offering to be his speech coach. I am qualified as you can see at http://www.coachannette.com/prescoach.htm
Pass it along. I've not heard from him.
