Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels will give the GOP response to President Obama’s State of the Union address on January 25th.

I have a feeling that Daniels will more than rise to the occasion and we will then hear a flurry of conservatives say that he should have run.

Of course, it’s easy to admire someone from a distance. But it wouldn’t have been a slam dunk had he entered the race. Even if Daniels had won, he wouldn’t have been unscathed.

Mitch Daniels said the 2012 Election shouldn't include "social issues". So, if you can't talk about abortion, gay marriage, etc., you shouldn't be able to talk about Newt's marriage, which is itself a social issue.

This is so delicious the GOPuke presidential candidates are disintegrating simultaneously. And now reachback to Hoosier Governor Runt. He has is own marriage infidelities in this case his lustful wife cheating on him with the hunk California Doc. NO wonder the election should include "social issues". I have reached the ultimate state of political nirvana!

I hope Daniels has released a true copy of his birth certificate. In that he will be at least one up on Blessed Handsome Obama of the Arabic monikers.

Thank you. Yes. There is a reason he was calling for a (unilateral) truce on social issues. When one's wife is whoring around and leaving, one can bring up the issue.

"flurry of conservatives say that he should have run.". That would be RINO and DCCons like, (1) WSJ, (2) NRO, (3) Liberal writer James Antle III, (4) Republican Establishment, (5) Goldstein.
