Newt Gingrich took Juan Williams accusations of racial insensitivity about calling President Obama the “food stamp President” and hit them out of the park when he noted that more people have gone on food stamps under Obama than any other President. It earned Newt a partial standing ovation from the crowd.

Why are we still confused about who should be the non-Romney candidate?

Gingrich is demonstrably, self-evidently, the superior candidate, and he is best capable of articulating the Conservative response to all things obama.

Women voters won't make a first lady out of a woman who seduced a married man and caused him to divorce his wife and marry her...
We also won't vote for a guy who is a serial adulterer who cheated on 2 wives.....
Three wives and you're out, Mr.Newt !

You don't speak for all women, Debbie. This is a Presidential race. I could care less about his personal history.

Debbie, in the 90's, women gave a sizeable majority of their votes to a serial adulterer and rapist running for President-not once, but TWICE! how many rapes does it take to be 'out?'

But Santorum won't run of in three directions at once, while Gingrich is prone to do just that.

RJ| 1.17.12 @ 1:03AM

Santorum looked solid in the debate tonight and he is much more consistent than Newt. Given the damage that Newt has done to himself the last few weeks, it looks like Romney (who didn't look so sure footed tonight) and Santorum will battle it out while Ron Paul largely does the nation a service (in domestic politics) in gaining more advocates for limited government.

Partially standing ovation? You mean a crouching ovation? Or what?

It was a wonderful moment in terms of seeing a speaker (no pun) so enthuse an audience.

Juan Williams is a racist, why do blacks always have to focus on being black. Do whites focus on being white? If so they are labeled racist. The race garbage is sickening!!

it doesn't take much to 'go yard' on Juan Williams, intellectually speaking; the man's a dolt
