Uh Oh !
Mr. Newt's Guys Just Ripped The Fur Off Mittens.
This Ain't Bean Bag.
Mimi| 1.12.12 @ 1:11PM
Newt might not be a living angel but he was doing fine at keeping the 11th commandment until they spent 4 or more Million on adds to bring him down.....He crawled out of Iowa and came to ! High Time!
Like Romney retorted,....This ain't bean bag. Mitts got warts too if he's lived in this world....we might as well know it all...at this time, vetting is GOOD! What we wait to find out too late like Obama? Who knew we would be this bad off in 2008. The MEDIA was dead then and the Dems want Mitt so they arn't looking for warts or doing the job. Newt's risking it, and full of courage fighting to stay in the race....also WHO did the DIRT to Herman Cain? I read on TAS that the scum who took Him down was none other than MITT ROMNEY.... schocking and ruthlesss if it was.... Don't try to HURT the NEWT...He's fighting to save this country!

I agree, Mimi.
Romney brought this on himself. He is reaping what he sowed.
Mitt has unleashed the hounds, and doesn't like getting bit. Oh well, too bad.

On top of this, so-called conservative pundits sat quietly on the sidelines as anybody but Romney was savaged unfairly. Romney's attacks on Perry's comments on Social Security were particularly unfair and unproductive. Now these clownish pundits spring to life to defend what must be their boy. Now we get lectured on 11th commandments. Romney desires to win an election where he will have no mandate to do anything serious about our serious problems. This is business as usual and that is how we arrived at the current state of affairs. Romney is running as nothing more than a technocrat. When a closer look is taken where this guy has applied his amazing skills as a technocrat, conservatives don't get a comforting picture. This is a funny place for so many worthless so-called conservative pundits to find themselves. They may wish to point to the mainstream media as egging on these fights which of course is true but in a Republican primary the conservative press has a lot more influence and they used it to try and achieve the promotion of their various boys (usually and effectively Romney). If the unfair attack was good for their boy then they were silent. Now they want to look like unbiased referees. It is expected that the left elites have utter contempt for your average American, it is extremely dissappointing to find that the right elites have the same contempt. Well I have some pretty good contempt right back at you Wlady. If you're looking for the problem, take a deep look into a mirror. At least you have brought joy into the lives of the various bigots that make up Ron Paul's candidacy.

I had high hopes for Newt. But you do not help conservatism by sounding like a liberal Democrat when attacking an opponent. I think this same fault hurt Michele Bachmann when she challenged the integrity of Perry and Newt with no evidence.
I admired Newt when he said he was going to be "relentlessly positive" when asked about anticipated attacks on his background. He didn't stay on track long. None of the other candidates have the eloquence, experience and record of results that Newt has. But his weakness has been that he is erratic and undisciplined. It has now hurt him big time.

Put Up Or Shut Up, Mittens.
The Tea Party Rebellion Steps On Mitten's Tail.

Romney will be the last man standing. At the moment no one exceeds the contemptibility of Newt Gingrich. In order to beat Obama, we will need to coalesce. This career politician, Gingrich, has run out of ideas other than propping himself up in his own inimitable egotistical fashion.
somnolence| 1.12.12 @ 5:30PM
For you see, you are missing the point. Romney has already EXCEEDED expectations in South Carolina, where he was thought to be hopeless. Romney can even lose S.C. win FL and keep going like the Everready Bunny. Gingrich was buried in New Hampshire, and a tie with Romney in S.C. wouldn't be much for him to crow about literally in his own back yard. Think about that one.

The Tea Party Rebellion Is In South Carolina.

This is so over the top that it's almost parody.
The fact that Newt thinks any serious voter would be swayed by this type of Michael Moore agitprop shows how seriously disconnected he is from the real world.
Only one career and reputation has been destroyed by Newt-his own.

I'm for Gingrich. Gingrich called for a truce months ago, but Romney declined and unleashed a barrage of smear ads against Gingrich, winning in NH and IA.
SC is a whole new ball game. It's a solid conservative state. Gingrich has the right to defend his records, and this ad about Bain Capital makes sense. Romney is a dirty player. Gingrich has no choice but to attack him.
Some tips to Gingrich. Attack Romney on his stances on abortion and gay rights, Romney will be derailed in SC, no country for "MA moderate RINO."
