The Boston Herald
reports that Elizabeth Warren, the Democratic Senate candidate
who positions herself as a foe of Wall Street, is not opposed to
taking Wall Street campaign donations.
“There are people on Wall Street who actually believe we need
better rules, fairer rules,” Warren is quoted as saying. Obviously,
the Wall Street people who help fund her campaign “want reform.”
She has also attacked Karl Rove, who she says is acting as “Scott
Brown’s wing man.” Rove is an adviser to American Crossroads, a
conservative group that has run ads in Massachusetts critical of
Warren’s support for bank bailouts.
Brown’s spokesman zinged Warren: “Professor Warren is a serial
hypocrite. She attacks Wall Street while she’s taking their
campaign cash. Now she’s attacking Scott Brown for outside ads that
he has condemned and she has cheered on. You don’t need to be a
Harvard professor to see through Warren’s political
doublespeak.”
Clearly team Brown is trying to make a play for the voters who
would rather be governed by the first 400 people listed in the
Boston phone book than the Harvard faculty, as the late William F.
Buckley, Jr might say. I
noted yesterday that Warren hauled in $5.7 million last
quarter, more than Brown raised over the same time period.

If he weren't a douche, it might be worth caring about. Sure, Warren is going to be worse than Brown but the People of Massachusetts didn't care that they had a filthy drunken killer as their Senator. Too bad Brown took such pleasure out of sticking his thumb in conservative's eyes.

" Sen. Scott Brown has thrown his tea party supporters “under the bus” with his recent critiques of some Republican budget cut proposals, a movement leader said Friday.
Brown, a Massachusetts Republican, on Thursday denounced GOP suggestions to cut social and cultural programs as “irresponsible,” and Judson Phillips, a leader of Tea Party Nation, is steamed.
“Brown is a politician, and that is meant in the worst sense of the word politician,” Phillips wrote on his blog. “Scott Brown used the Tea Party to get elected. Now he no longer needs this movement and we are tossed under the bus.”

I keep getting E-mails, and snail mails from Senator Brown, due to my support for him the last time he ran, but because he didn't do the "right" thing since his election, I just delete and shred them now!! It was the Tea Party that got you into the office you're in now, and you stabbed us in the back with every chance you had, and now you want our help again? From the same Tea Party whom you've betrayed? Now how stupid do you think we are, Sir? You will "not" see a single penny from this Tea Party Paratrooper, I can tell you that much!! Maybe that trick you pulled, driving around in that old truck, will work for you again, but I'm not falling for it!! It was fun while it lasted, Sir!! Maybe Cosmopolitan will hire you back again, huh?
KennesawJack| 1.12.12 @ 7:17PM
Ah, yes. So much better to sit back and give the Demomarxists another vote in the Senate. Yessir, that'll show those Republican turncoats. Unbelieveable display of an illogical progression.
Lullabys, Legends and Lies| 1.12.12 @ 10:07PM
There's going to be plenty of other Candidates out there in the coming year that can use my help to take back the Senate, and maybe those Candidates will turn on the Tea Party in the end too, but I don't need to waste my money helping someone who already has turned on us. If you like him so much, open up your checkbook!! I already did that for him in 2009, for at least $200, and that's on my meager Army salary, and I'm not going to make it $200.01 now!! He should've done the right thing by us, and acted like the man he campaigned as, especially being that he's an Officer in the Army National Guard, he should know (and do his best to live by) the seven Army values!! And I don't think he's done that!! If you think he has, you send him money, I'm done helping!!

He needs to do what he needs to do to keep the seat from an uber liberal state. You cannot reasonably expect a Republican from Massachusetts to vote like a Republican from a red state on most issues. If we are to get a majority in the Senate this year, we have to support EVERY Republican candidate. Brown will vote with us on the existential issues and, for me, that is really all that matters. I don't like Romney, not even a little bit, but if he is our candidate I will support him with my dollars while I hold my nose and vote for him.

I live in the Commonwealth of Ma. Conservatives would have to be brain dead to support Brownie. Please direct your resources elsewhere to elect principled conservatives. Any aid to Brownie only empowers wet, squishy repubicans, like Brownie and the hideous Ma GOP.

Of course she will take Wall Street Money, Wall Street supports Obama ==they are crony capitalists.
Bailouts for the Big guy-- not the little guy. Hey that would be a good attack theme for Scotty baby.

We need to remember that Elizabeth Warren is not socialist or anti-capitalist. Her "God Bless" speech was clear on that. She believes in the right part of Wall Street. And there still is a right part. There still are those who work hard to make money the right way. There are still a few "Smith Barneys" left there. I see nothing wrong with her accepting contributions from them. I don't believe that, if she does that she will feel beholden to them. Liz is her own person. Her future relies upon her ironclad integrity. I say that whatever she accepts is good if it results in a victory.

Waterbury: Dude, I've got bad news for you!! Besides the fact that you're wrong on Warren, she "is" a friggin' Socialist!! About your so-called "Blog", you seem to put a lot of work into it, because I just visited it, and I read a few paragraphs while I was there, so I know that you put a lot of work into it!! But Dude, I don't think anybody's reading you Blog? I may be the first person to have visited it since last April!! Yet, in your writing, you refer to you readers while you're writing it, and I don't think anybody's reading it, so you're kind of talking to yourself. You've got "1" comment there, dating all the way back to this time last year, and that comment was, "sounds good to me". Now don't take this the wrong way, because I do appreciate somebody putting work into their writing, but maybe you should just stick to writing comments on established Blogs (such as this one), and stop wasting so much time on your own!! I don't think your Blog is taking off Dude? It's just a suggestion, and I don't mean any offense to you!! Now did you notice how I didn't attack you're crazy Leftwing political writing? I could've done that too, but I figured that since I was pointing out that nobody's reading yourBlog, I didn't need to go there!! Hey, what can I say? I'm mellowing out as I get older!!
