It is interesting to see Ron Paul’s campaign come to Mitt Romney’s defense over the “firing” controversy.
At the risk of getting way, way, way ahead of myself, should Romney win the GOP nomination I don’t think we can discount the possibilty that Romney could tap Paul to be his running mate.
Now while this is a remote possibility it is a possibility nonetheless. The one reason I see Romney picking Paul would be to head off the possibility of him running as a third party candidate should he fail to win the GOP nomination.
