Willard will be smoked by BHO. It is time to rebuild the conservative movement!!!!
Clint| 1.10.12 @ 7:50PM

The Tea Party Rebellion Is On The East Coast.

Whether Romney or any othe Republican is
electable or not is not so much the issue as the fact that A REPUBLICAN HAS TO BE ELECTED IF THIS COUNTRY IS TO SURVIVE. We simply cannot survive four more years of Obama and these socialist Democrats running [or ruining?] this country!!!!!!!
Al Adab| 1.10.12 @ 2:33PM
O/F:
A republican cannot save it, that will take a Conservative and a republican Congress. A republican will just continue the same old failed statist - but better managed - policies that brought us here. Remember the Dept of Ed and the EPA?
Surgery is required not better aspirin.
Oldefarte| 1.10.12 @ 4:43PM
AA: Your learned thoughts are bullseyed as usual, but remember that there will be ONLY tow choices, one a Republican and one Obama. The optimum is as you say a conservative, but if that conservative loses Barry Goldwater style, then what has been gained? The ultimate goal should be the defeat of Obama and no one should lose sight of same, otherwise ALL IS [OR WILL BE]....LOST!!!!!!!!!!!
Al Adab| 1.10.12 @ 2:35PM
We failed to elect the moderate McCain so we turn to someone to his left? Sure makes sense to me.

Oldefarte| 1.10.12 @ 4:46PM
McCain did not so much lose the 2008 election as he was defeated by Obama [and that occurred because of the COLLECTIVE STUPIDITY OF THE AMERICAN TAXPAYER-VOTERS in allowing themselves to become brainwashed/propagandized by the MSM and the Acorn Democrats into believing Obama's bullexcrement!!!!!!!
Occam's Tool| 1.10.12 @ 8:24PM
O/F: McCain didn't unleash the my opponent is a traitor factor. He should have, and slammed it home.
Oldefarte| 1.11.12 @ 2:40PM
True! Not sure about the 'is a traitor' element, but definately the I'M A SOCIALIST, CHICAGO COMMUNITY ORGANIZER, CONGREGANT OF JEREMIAH WRIGHT'S RACIST CHURCH, MUSLIM SYMPATHIZER TO MIDDLEASTERN TERRORISTS [ARAB SPRING BREAKERS] ETC element for sure. Not only McCain but also Hillary and the MSM had the goods on him and PC chose to ignore/bury same [AND NOW WE'RE ALL PAYING THE PRICE OF SAME]!!!!!!!!!!!!
somnolence| 1.10.12 @ 2:43PM
Quin, you left out ONE big factor---the election will be about OBAMA, not Romney, and Mitt has the last 3 years of Obama's WAR ON THE COUNTRY to use several times a day. Bain will show a few out of work, but Mitt will reflect from that on the COUNTRY'S DEVASTATION AND DEMORALIZATION of the ones who have dropped out of the job market altogether. I can't believe you omitted that. YES, that is enough for Romney, if he is the nominee, to get the job done against a supposed $800 million.
Derek Leaberry| 1.10.12 @ 2:49PM
If Trump runs, wins seven percent of the vote, the election is handed to Romney. Paul might even pull 5 % as an independent and allow Obama to scrape by.
Pete| 1.10.12 @ 3:03PM
Its propaganda to shove him down our throats. Once nominated we will see a life long member of the 1 percent get blasted by the press and Obama. He has no fight in him and we will see this site moan that he is a victim being treated unfairly. He will fail to get the base to rally behind him, as the pitch will once again, pick the lesser of two evils. The GOP has so alienated Ron Paul supporters he will fail to get votes also.
In other words Romney is the perfect foil for Obama.
somnolence| 1.10.12 @ 3:09PM
Nonsense. The Gallup Poll today shows that you are way off the mark, Pete. Romney is LEADING with CONSERVATIVES. Look at the poll. Obama couldn't hit his ass with a bass fiddle if he tried.
rightwinger| 1.10.12 @ 6:13PM
Romney is articulate. Independent voters are smart enough to at least question liberalism but they're not quite convinced we're right either. Romney is articulate enough to win over the majority of these independent voters IMO.
joanindixie| 1.11.12 @ 7:00AM
Sure rightwinger...being articulate is about the only thing RINO Romney has going for him in my book...where does he stand on any issue? Where has he "articulated" the immediate repeal of Obamacare? Heck, he invented it in MA, and sent his advisors to Washington to encourage Obama.
