We are a few hours away from tonight’s GOP debate in Manchester,
New Hampshire.
While I am sure a lot of people would rather watch the NFL I
have a feeling there will be more hits in the debate than in the
Detroit Lions-New Orleans Saints game.
Although Mitt Romney will try to stay above the fray he will be
pounded upon by Santorum, Huntsman and especially Newt. Perry will
save most of his amunition for Santorum while Paul will divide his
time between Santorum and Newt. I suspect that Huntsman will be
eager to go after Paul in light the “Manchurian
Candidate” video
allegedly put out by one of Paul’s supporters.
The winner of tonight’s debate: President Obama.
The debate begins at 9 p.m. EST on ABC.

Newt had a good townhall meeting with the ordinary good folks 0f Wolfeburg, New Hampshire this morning . He gave a terrific speech and answered many great questions . Sounds like Reagan II. He is the Reagan in his approach to saving this country! There is a clear difference between him and Romney...who comes off as Bush 1&2! The picture seems clearer to me through all the fog ...We need the REAGAN way this time around....and if Newt is it...what you see is what you get! We'd be crazy to give up on Newt.
Romney would be an improvement , we at least would have an American but the country would stay on hold with only the status-quo!
With the Reagan policies we could take off like a rocket and not drag out for more years than we need to. also see Peter Ferrara's article in FORBES. Let's see if Newt 's Saturdays work a la EXCELLENCE and C-Span coverage helps him Tuesday....Today , his SPIRIT must have buoyed and helped him perform well in tonights debate!

Thanks for that report, Mimi, I appreciate it very much!
Great post.
It looks like it's gonna be between Newt or Santorum.. right this minute, to me.. I think Romney actually might not make it, and I won't mind that a bit.

First, the Matthew Stafford and the Lions are going to take them down. Second, I'll be able to watch the game when Ron Paul and John Hunstfag are bloviating.

Mr. Goldstein, I can't speak for those in the debate audience, but I think President Obama made himself a loser, this week at least, by his non-recess appointments. I'm hearing a LOT of livid people on talk shows regarding this...more than I would have expected.
This may or may not be forgotten soon, but it's as if Mr. Obama was deliberately REMINDING us why so many want genuine "hope and change" in the White House come 2012.
