I review the congresswoman and presidential candidate’s book in today’s Washington Times. I think the campaign memoir paints a good picture of why Bachmann experienced her rapid rise and fall, showing both her virtues and her limits.

Michelle Bachmann needs to campaign hard in SC and FL, after the IA Caucus. If she cannot win SC or FL, she may have to bow out from the race. That's a tragedy. Because she is one of the two conservatives in the GOP race, besides Rick Perry.

She's a jerk!

The lady in white attacked a guy whose pro-life exceeded her own!

Meanwhile, the guy who got in bed with Planned Parenthood, appointing some of them to his Mass health board got a pass.

She's a jerk, who has done God only knows how much damage to the country because of her soaring personal ambition.

She is no jerk. She is compassionate and charismatic. Bachmann will be Obama's NIGHTMARE. Just watch!

Romney was the one who attacked Gingrich not just for multiple wives, but for his conversion to Catholicism.

If there was one thing that Romney SHOULD have flipped on, it was the religion he was born into.

The only real 'bigot' vote is encompassed within Ronnie's band of storm-troopers, aka PAULISTAS!!!!!!!!!

Since the neo-Liberal Paulestianian contingent is still haunting this Conservative site:
For an insider's look at Ron Paul's racist newsletters and a history of leftism & racism in the movement, check out Libertarian Steve Horwitz's December 23rd article over at Bleeding Heart Libertarians. An real eye opener! However we may disagree, Horwitz may be the first honest Liberal-tarian I've read...

Ronald Reagan,
" If you analyze it I believe the very heart and soul of conservatism is libertarianism. I think conservatism is really a misnomer just as liberalism is a misnomer for the liberals–if we were back in the days of the Revolution, so-called conservatives today would be the Liberals and the liberals would be the Tories. The basis of conservatism is a desire for less government interference or less centralized authority or more individual freedom and this is a pretty general description also of what libertarianism is.

Now, I can’t say that I will agree with all the things that the present group who call themselves Libertarians in the sense of a party say, because I think that like in any political movement there are shades, and there are libertarians who are almost over at the point of wanting no government at all or anarchy. I believe there are legitimate government functions. There is a legitimate need in an orderly society for some government to maintain freedom or we will have tyranny by individuals. The strongest man on the block will run the neighborhood. We have government to insure that we don’t each one of us have to carry a club to defend ourselves. But again, I stand on my statement that I think that libertarianism and conservatism are traveling the same path."

I really like Bachmann's positions on most things, and wish that she could gain more political traction. She is possible the very best conservative Republican candidate, but very few are providing her their support apparently!!!!
