This time a kickback against the president’s party. Sen. Ben Nelson, whose appeal is based on his image as the Senate’s most conservative Democrat, is retiring rather than face the voters over his Obamacare vote. Nelson’s retirement makes the Nebraska Senate seat virtually unwinnable for Democrats next year.

Ben Nelson is no loss for the democrats, in fact I wouldn't put it past the GOP to bribe him under the table to stay. Why not? He's on the take from everyone else. Now maybe they can get a true progressive in that seat. But in a very ignorant, uneducated, and stupid red state like Nebraska it's an uphill climb. A state full of dumb religious zealots and gun nuts who believe whatever they're told and think facts, truth, logic, and research is something you pour over a salad.

Ben Nelson was toast here in Nebraska ever since he took his infamous Cornhusker Kickback on Christmas Eve of 2009. The man can't even show his face in the state, so how was he going to run for reelection? Nelson was booed out of an Omaha pizza parlor, bypassed the state fair, and only gave appearances to Democrats. Glad to see this neo-Marxist gone and it looks like this officially hands the Senate over to the GOP...

Defeat them all. Donate directly or give to the Senate Conservatives Fund. Its time for the full court press on the Senate.
