Ron Smith, RIP

Via Michelle Malkin, I see that I missed the sad news that the fearless and peerless radio commentator Ron Smith died. A host on Baltimore's WBAL, Smith was gracious whenenver I was a guest and one of the most thoughtful polemicists on talk radio. Smith was a strong conservative who was unafraid to buck the party line when the Bush era GOP began to pursue a Wilsonian foreign policy and Johnsonian domestic policy. But what would expect of someone who would defend the conservative point of view in liberal Charm City? Smith will be missed.

I listened to Ron for years on all of the various time slots he had on WBAL. He was always fair to callers, giving them time to have their say, but mercilessly shredding the occasional idiot caller or guest. His ideology seemed to veer from paleo to libertarian to make whatever point he wanted to make. Never was what he derisively called a neocon though. He will be missed maybe not so much in Baltiless City, as in the conservative northern and western suburbs. RIP, Ron!

This ensures that you save enough for an elegant designer outfit for your friend's wedding or north face denali hoodie any other special event.
Some well-known cheap wholesale clothing: Lingerie is quite an expensive item and not many can afford to buy designer lingerie.

I came in late to the Ron Smith show, but was impressed with him right away. He was the antithesis of the dimwit AM talk show host (as are most all of them). He called himself "the voice of reason," and so he was.

He left us way too soon.

Ron Smith was my favorite radio host. When his time slot shifted I stayed with him. Truly an innovative deep thinker. I would imagine the political establishment in Maryland is resting a little easier tonight. RIP Ron!

Ron Smith is an icon. Even after his death he's a legend. He will be remembered as a great personality who did lots of good things for radio!
