Rick Santorum has given two perfectly good, acceptable answers so far -- but has made NO real impression. He needs to say or do something memorable... memorably GOOD, that is. If he is to break out of the pack, he can't just keep giving acceptable but unmemorable answers. This has been his problem all along: Modern politics rewards style as much as substance, and while his style is not at all bad, it's also not strong enough to make a big impression. His substance, as always, remains first-rate.
