What a shame that Perry’s demagoguery on this issue is getting applause. There is an awful lot of mindlessness among the electorate, alas. Of COURSE Perry sounds good on this… unless you actually understand the federal government, in which case it is nonsense.

No, that leaves the bureaucracy in charge, and abdicates too much power to the already-over-powerful executive.

The bureaucracy does things it's not Constitutionally authorized to do also. We need to cut government down to Constitutional size and a part time Congress is part of that. I surprised by you on this Quin.

The executive needs a 75% haircut too. Get the government back to first principles. Yes...to a part time congress. If they are not there, then they can't start any NEW problems.
