If there is any one quality that sets The American
Spectator apart from almost every other journal, it is
Spectator’s utter fearlessness.
There is no icon our writers won’t oclast, no woolly-headedness
we will not shear. Nor is there any site on which the debates even
among fast friends are so lively, spirited, and wickedly sharp.
Yet if our internal jousts can get a bit rambunctious, they are
as nothing compared to the glorious and effective attacks we launch
against the Jabberwocks of the professional Left — who soon, if we
have our way, will be entirely Left behind.
Please
support further jousting by making your most generous
(tax-deductible) contribution today to help The American Spectator
Foundation reach its year-end online fundraising goal.
For a limited time, The American
Spectator has a generous donor who has temporarily offered to
match dollar-for-dollar every donation raised
through this online campaign. Please help us reach
our $25,000 online goal!
Thank you!

Quin...
Ladies and gentlemen,
The thing that irks me most is the number of “good Americans” who sat out the last Presidential election. You sat on your fat butts and allowed these communists to take over our government!
That brings me to today.
Every time I read one of your posts about who you will NOT vote for, either sitting this next election out…or writing in…or throwing your vote away in a third party…I get very ill.
Then I get very angry all over again. We non-communists must have ONE goal. Out-vote the communists and fraudulent votes in a landslide.
I don’t give a damn if the last Republican standing is an idiot. He or she will at least be an innocent idiot, and we won’t have another chance to replace the growing power of our communists.
Speaking of the “last Republican standing”, we had better go back to Reagan’s ELEVENTH COMMANDMENT and Quit killing off our candidates.
Look, knot-heads, support who-ever you respect the most during the primaries, but commit here and now to vote ANYBODY BUT OBAMA! Next November.
We still outnumber the communists and the “takers” by a pretty good margin.
The future of our country will be decided with ballots next fall…or bullets. Bullets fly in both directions.
Please!
Get your heads out of your butts.
Look…even if Ron Paul out of some cosmic irony becomes our nominee, I will get off my butt and vote for the dumb sonofabitch. He is as dumb as dirt, but he ain’t a communist!

I held my nose and voted for RINO McCain.
Never again.
The Republican Party will have to earn my vote. I support Bachmann, Santorum, and Perry in the current field. If none of these is on the ballot when my swing state votes, I won't vote for President. I may vote the downticket depending but given the constant efforts of the GOP leadership to screw conservative candidates, even that will be in doubt.
I don't see much good to be had voting for Trotsky over Stalin, to extend your analogy, and I don't give a fig what color jersey the candidate wears.
Oldefarte| 12.13.11 @ 11:03AM
Your W/H your political vote is exactly the reason why we now have the current president, since a majority of the moderate/conservative did thus on 11/4/08 due to their semi-rightful disgust over the longetivity of the ME wars [or possibly over dislike of McCain's non-adequate conservatism as a Republican]. Now, thanks to taxpayer-voters sitting out and not voting for the flawed Republican candidate in 2008, this country has experienced an $800billion non-stimulus, a welfaric health insurance mandated law being passed, a corrupt Justice Dept that sues individual states over immigration [and provides guns illegally to Mexican drug cartels that kill/murder American law inforcement agents with same] and a equally corrupt Interior Dept that refuses to grant critically needed offshore oil drilling permits to produce domestic oil supplies, etc. THANK YOU AND HAVE A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS, okay???????

Quin,
Got the big scoop for your next post. Woman from 34 years ago has come forward to claim that she "did" Gingrich and she nows feels it necessary to come forward as he is big on family values. Guess that's it for him, eh?
There is no icon our writers won't destoy, no candidate we will not smear, right? No circular firing squad we will not participate in and no liberal attack we will not support or will not question.
Mimi| 12.8.11 @ 3:28PM
That makes him about 30 years old....34 years ago.
You got to be kidding...sounds like a HERMIE to me....some Dem' dame needed the 75 grand their paying. They mean business its getting risky for the culprits...their choosey getting their floosey. Top dogs only ....We only pay the 75 if their in the top of the heap....34years ago nobody can prove anything...This is getting boring...So Newt 's finally legit he's number uno!!
SpiralArchitect| 12.8.11 @ 4:25PM
Templar, you're awesome.
Mimi, are you still teaching that Criticle Thinking course??
teflon93| 12.8.11 @ 2:39PM
True courage would mean taking out Republican liberals like Mitt Romney.
I haven't seen much yet on that score.
Mimi| 12.8.11 @ 3:34PM
God HELP the Mormon Religion...their gonna need our prayers...But that method would surely backfire ....The 75% of us Christians will not stand for it!....sometimes dealing " DIRTY" doesn't work for the the BOOMERANG effect....
Margie| 12.8.11 @ 3:48PM
Mimi,
I don't think he means dealing dirty.. and he didn't say that. he said take him out.. with the truth. And the truth having to do with Romney's views politically, not Religiously.
That SHOULD be enough to take him out, but it isn't. The Establishment Republicans want their man, and they shall get him.
Truth be damned... to them.
Margie| 12.8.11 @ 3:52PM
p.s. He is still better than Obama, though, and IF he becomes the nominee I will vote for him.
Unlike Ron Paul~ I will NOT vote for him.
But at least with Romney, I doubt he'd have a man with views such as Dennis Kucinch or however you spell it, in his admin.
I don't think he's for the legalization of dope, prostitution and whatever else rocks his boat.
And I don't believe he is anti-Israel or wants to withdraw from the World's troubles.
SpiralArchitect| 12.8.11 @ 4:31PM
I'd vote for Quin over Zero.
Now thats dedication - and patriotism.
Margie| 12.8.11 @ 4:47PM
Quin's nothing like RuPaul so that would be easy.
Oldefarte| 12.13.11 @ 11:06AM
And TRUE INTELLIGENCE would mean taking out instead the group of socialist, radical street thugs that have now captured our country, perhaps A????????
