Attorney General Eric Holder tried to distance the Justice
Department from the gun-running Operation Fast and Furious, while
acknowledging that the guns the ATF let walk will be used in
crimes in both the United States and Mexico “for years to
come.”
Congress is investigating what the Justice Department knew about
the operation, with a special focus on Lanny Breuer, the chief of
the criminal division. Holder defended Breuer and asked Congress to
focus on giving Justice more gun-tracking tools instead.

What good are 'gun-tracking tools' minus intent to track?

Operation Fast and Furious is the government at a new low. Holder has lied, and will continue to pad his story. And the DOJ has stated that we need tougher laws? How about just enforcing the laws we already have in stead of adding to them. Multiple sales of military looks alikes is wrong, and yet the DOJ tells the dealers to "go ahead" and sell them? How many more new laws will be by-passed, then the DOJ tells dealers to go ahead and sell more arms, then the DOJ tells the dealers....

Holder acknowledges, "The guns the ATF let walk will be used in crimes in both the United States and Mexico for years to come."
This all the more reason to lock-up that miserable, sorry excuse for an AG and to think this is what passes for competency!!!?

We misunderstand fast and furious. It was an alliance with a gang. It was a partnership with the government run by Obama and the Mexican gangs, pure and simple.

Holder: "The point is to give the government more power over gun ownership. What? You think this was the real purpose of F&F? Have you no shame?"
Now that Holder admits that his DOJ has armed the cartels to enable them to commit murders for years to come, we can expect an indictment for accessory before the fact from Mexico.
