Dobie Gray, R.I.P.

Singer Dobie Gray has passed away on Tuesday at the age of 71. His cause of death has not been released.

Gray is best known for his 1973 hit "Drift Away" which became a hit again in 2003 for Uncle Kracker featuring Gray on backup vocals.

But my favorite Dobie Gray song was his first hit "The 'In' Crowd" which was released in 1965. It was also a hit for The Ramsey Lewis Trio amongst many others.
