As President Obama insisted yesterday at the APEC Summit in Hawaii that sanctions against Iran have had “an enormous bite”, I was amused by President Obama’s statement about his efforts to persuade Russia and China concerning Iran:

All three of us entirely agree on the objective which is making sure that Iran does not weaponize nuclear power and we do not trigger a nuclear arms race in the region. That’s in the interest of all of us. We will be consulting with them carefully over the next several weeks to look at what other options we have available to us.

In other words, Obama has nothing. If sanctions against Iran have left an enormous bite, I would say that this statement barely rises to the level of a bark. A yelp would be more like it.

The term "poodle" has been applied to leaders who are stronger than that.

Unlike you he has only been to 50 states. How can he be as sophisticated and nuanced as Mr. Reset Button until he has been to the remaining 10 states. Lead from behind. Obama has turned the whole Middle East into a very dangerous cesspool supported by China and Russia all by leading from very far behind. Don't worry we have Greece and Italy on our side. Gosh is Obama ever a smart guy. This is what is wrong with Dred spending too many hours in bath houses.

They haven't heard from Ron Paul yet. When they hear that he wants to be their friend, they will buckle. It is all over.

Ron Paul has promised supporters that he will blame American for whatever China and Russia say and surrender within the first 24 hours. This has also been very popular with the paleoconservative movement whose leader Gus Hall was quoted as saying, "finally a voice of sanity".

Another beneficiary of affirmitive action, Colin Powell, just came out for giving sanctions against Iran another chance. Talk about lame.
