Earlier today, over at NRO, Quin Hillyer asked "Why Not Santorum?"

Well, as long as Santorum reminisce about working on Health Care Saving Accounts when Hanson was topping the charts while complaining about not getting any questions on housing, he is going nowhere in a hurry.

If Santorum insists on whining I can only ask him if he prefers mozzarella or cheddar.

Perry just took the collar & couldn't answer the third of the three agencies he said he would cut.

It's a shame because Santorum has all the conservative credentials in the world, but as the pundits used to say, insipidly, he lacks "gravitas."

Bottom line, he is unelectable.

I have become a big fan of morbier, by the way, even though it stinks up the house. If I leave it out for any length of time--which you must--I am now required to put it in a plastic bag.

As to wine, well, I am a fan of about anything, but I love cabernets and I love Napa and Sonoma County Cabernets and I am currently drinking a thing called Ravenswood, which has the added advantage of being reasonably priced, as well.

Sorry Rick.

Christians For Rick Santorum| 11.10.11 @ 2:10AM

Rick has a legitimate right to cast a light on the fact that these moderators basically ignored him tonight. The media is deathly afraid of and reviled by Rick, as they are any entity that suggests there is such a thing as a moral right and wrong. The further one moves away from focusing on that subject matter, the more favor they will garner from the media. I still believe his time will come however, as we approach the Iowa caucus. Once he commands a centralized position and a focused spotlight, it will be difficult for the media to completely ignore him.

My opinions of Santorum have varied throughout the past year from "Boring Sanctimonium" last summer, to a likeable and feisty conservative on the campaign trail (with great local staff) in NH, to a petulant kid whining and lashing out on stage - that last impression is sticking, with a lot of people.

"I can only ask him if he prefers mozzarella or cheddar."

He strikes me as a Brie kinda guy.

Mike
