In a Republican debate that was supposed to be about the economy, Maria Betrimono wasted no time in asking Herman Cain about the allegations against him.

Once again, Herman Cain displayed the grace and aplomb that has drawn conservatives to him and was enthusiastically cheered.

To his credit, Mitt Romney wasn't having any of it when John Harwood asked him if he would have kept Cain as a CEO if he took over his company.

The audience then applauded Harwood when he said, "Let's switch back to the economy."

Cain didn't really defend himself. He just refused to acknowledge the existence of two women who are claiming he sexually harassed him.

Dr.Ron Paul is out front on tonight's issue, regarding Repealing ObamaCare & offering Medical Care Solutions.

Being both a doctor & a congressmen has that advantage over other candidates.

Although I disagree with Ron Paul fundamentally on America's role in the world and therefore do not support his candidacy, I must confess that there are so many areas where he is spot on. It's too bad that I can't help feeling that the good Dr. Paul was there when Dennis Kucinich met little men from Mars.

That's More Israel Firster Propaganda Crap, Sport.

Dr.Ron Paul,
“Our military’s purpose is to defend our country, not to police the
Middle East.

“As the President prepares to send even more support to Egypt, we should
be reminded that it was our foreign aid that helped Mubarak retain power
to repress his people in the first place. Now we have to deal with the
consequences of those decisions, yet we keep repeating the same mistakes.

“I am not the only one who can see the absurdities of our foreign
policy. We give $3 billion to Israel and $12 billion to her enemies.
Most Americans know that makes no sense.

“We need to come to our senses, trade with our friends in the Middle
East (both Arab and Israeli), clean up our own economic mess so we set a
good example, and allow them to work out their own conflicts.”

The Tea Party Rebellion Is Here.

Who exactly is "sport?"

Clint| 11.10.11 @ 12:21AM

You is "Sport", Sport.

tonypal| 11.10.11 @ 2:17PM

Now that we have that settled my thin-skinned fellow TAS reader, how exactly do you infer I'm an "Israel Firster" (whatever the hell that is) simply due to me goofing on your hero? Unless of course you have a problem with Israel and Jews yourself.

tonypal| 11.10.11 @ 2:22PM

One more thing big guy. I'll put my Tea Party credentials up against yours any day of the week. You Ron Paul supporters are simply intolerant of anyone who doesn't dance to the beat of the Congressman. In fact, dealing with a Ron Paul supporter is more or less the same as dealing with an Obama supporter. No amount of reason permeates your brains and there is a strong undercurrent of animosity towards Israel and Jews in general. So knock it off with the whining and accept the fact that the good Congressman doesn't actually walk on water. I will await your whiny response.

Michigan is not Cain's home turf, but both he and Romney put the nasty "moderator" in her place by refusing to take the bait on the specious allegations.
They got the chears, and the moderators got the boos.
