Yea, and you're point is?
Romney flipped on issues in Mass., and then when seeking the GOP nomination, flipped again.
Each flip coincided with him seeking an office.
Each flip coincided with him reconciling himself to a group of voters that wouldn't like his previous position.
Thus each flip was political advantageous to him.
I can't think of a flip where Romney was put in a politically disadvantageous position by him changing positions.
If a guy was just a flopper and a flipper, it would stand to reason that occasionally his flopping and flipping about would put him crosswise with the prevailing attitudes of his party. But Romney has always tried to flop into prevailing winds, not against them.
Which means he's unprincipled.
We have no idea what he would do in the White House. Each issue would be a case where Republicans would have to hold their breath while waiting for the President to decide which way he would come down.
And the media, knowing Romney liable to flip, would unleash tremendous pressure upon him to decide in ways consistent with domestic and foreign policy prescriptions of liberals, not Conservatives.
A disaster.

Perry can't debate and would embarrass and mortify us in the debates with Obama.
Romney can't be trusted.
Cain is not intellectually or morally equal to the nomination or the office.
Which leaves Gingrich, Santorum or Bachman.
Either one of them is prepared for the job, has demonstrated mental and moral toughness, has weathered media storms, back in their home states and in Washington.
Each gets the fact that besides taxes changing, existing regulations have to be largely uprooted.
Each gets the fact that the Iranians need to be stopped, and pronto.

Dan;
Since you are scared of Iran, who just 4 years ago mastered 8-bit technology, tell us, were you also scared of Iraq?

The question I got about Romney is a matta of ettics. Goes like dis: will he stay bought?
What I mean is dat when we elect him on dis platform of lowering taxes and eliminatin' Obamacare, will he come troo, or will he cave?
I don't mind flip-flops as much as I would mind dat. So, the question is, did he flip flop on positions in Taxachussetts that he was elected to do, or did he flip flop between offices but carry out his orders. I'm hiring dis guy to do a job, ya see. I only care about what he would do during the next 4 years, got it?

However, as regards Bachmann---if she's there when it gets to MN, I will vote for her. I adore that lady.
But it's anybody but Paul or Johnson who is currently running over Obama. Since Paul is even MORE pathetic on foreign policy that Obama, I would just write-in for President someone in that case.

Dr.Ron Paul,
“Our military’s purpose is to defend our country, not to police the
Middle East.
“As the President prepares to send even more support to Egypt, we should
be reminded that it was our foreign aid that helped Mubarak retain power
to repress his people in the first place. Now we have to deal with the
consequences of those decisions, yet we keep repeating the same mistakes.
“I am not the only one who can see the absurdities of our foreign
policy. We give $3 billion to Israel and $12 billion to her enemies.
Most Americans know that makes no sense.
“We need to come to our senses, trade with our friends in the Middle
East (both Arab and Israeli), clean up our own economic mess so we set a
good example, and allow them to work out their own conflicts.”

Occam is pro-Islam expansion, so obviously, he doesn't support Paul.
He supported toppling Saddam so Iran could dominate the region, for goodness sake. His agenda couldn't be clearer--I know you have to look past his Holocaust the Region stuff, but it's pretty obvious what he is up to.
Obama is a bit too radical for him on foreign policy because he supports toppling allies to install Islamic states faster then he likes.

Sorry, "than Obama."
