What a crazy October. Three weeks ago, my roommate Christopher
and I went to Walden Pond for a swim when temperatures reached the
mid-80s.
Well, today there is snow on the ground here in Boston and much
of the Eastern seaboard. Granted there’s not much more than an inch
or so on the ground but it was heavy enough to cause several power
outages here. Luckily, all the preparations we made for Hurricane
Irene back in August came in handy last night. Amongst these
preparations was a deck of cards which were used to play gin
by candlelight until power was restored. I have a feeling it
won’t be the last time we play cards before Halloween.

Before ANYONE starts the 'What Global Warming' BS. Here is the fact, NOTHING compares to the Sun, when your part of the planet is tilted away from those rays, it don't matter a bit how much greenhouse gases there are in the atmosphere, or how much heat is being trapped by the oceans, you are going to get cold...till spring.

Be careful where
the Occupiers go,
and don't you eat
that yellow snow!

I'm praying for a brutal winter. Wet, extremely cold, and lots of snow. I call it nature's retribution to the OWS squatters. Just let the Tea Party try illegal squatting in these Democrat cities. How long would that last?
