Brokaw & Schieffer Should Blow Smoke Elsewhere

Well, both Tom Brokaw and Bob Schieffer are appalled with Herman Cain's campaign manager Mark Block for smoking in the now legendary campaign ad.

Brokaw and Schieffer can spare me their sanctimony. If they object to smoking so vociferously why didn't they object when Barack Obama lit up on the campaign trail in 2008?

Well, we know the answer to that. Obama could have smoked four packs a day and neither Brokaw or Schieffer would have said a negative word. The only reason Brokaw and Schieffer are complaining is because Herman Cain is resonating with people and he makes their accusations of racism look stupid. They are afraid that Cain can beat Obama and are now left scrambling to find another line of attack. If Mark Block had taken a sip of Coke, Brokaw would have called it a great health hazard while Schieffer would have said it was no laughing matter.

Brokaw and Schieffer should blow smoke elsewhere.

Exactly correct. These and other garbage so called hosts of so called news magazine programs are absolutely useless and I really wonder what the use is of any Republican candidate going on any of these programs and I also mean FOX News as well. In the case of FOX
the "gotcha" attitude has got to go. or just do not bother.

I'll take it a step further...Brokaw and Schieffer are such liberal activists if Obama put his cig out on their grandchild's forehead they would still celebrate him!
