Debate Preview

Tonight there will be another debate between the Republican presidential candidates. The stakes are probably highest for Rick Perry, who is looking to arrest his slide and make clear his place in the top tier, and Michele Bachmann, who is struggling to establish that she's still a viable candidate at all.

But we can also expect new scrutiny on Herman Cain, who has moved into the top tier in both the national polls and early surveys of Iowa and New Hampshire. The more conservative candidates may also shift from attacking Perry to the reestablished frontrunner Mitt Romney (in fact, Cain has already signaled he will go after Romney). Expect Ron Paul to be asked about today's foiled terror plot as the only Republican candidate who has effectively ruled out using force to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.

There will be reactions on the blog later.

"today's foiled terror plot"

Today's ALLEGEDLY foiled terror plot. Given that so many people are itching for an excuse to attack Iran, extreme skepticism is warranted.

Cain's 9-9-9 Will Get Ripped As A Non-Starter. No Way Will Conservatives Allow Big Government To Have Both An Income Tax & A National Sales Tax, At The Same Time.

I'm really looking forward to the debate.
I know Herman Cain will sine because he's the real deal.
And I'm going to be checking Perry out... will he show he really wants the Presidency this time?
Or is it just another case of, my wife pushed me into this?
LOL.

A true debate would be of great interest. Perhaps the candidates could engage along the lines of, "Resolved, the function of the federal government is to provide the daily needs of the citizenry" or perhaps, "Resolved, a Constitutional government of limited powers best protects the rights and liberties of the people."

"Is life so dear or peace so sweet as to be purchased with the price of chains and slavery?"
I would enjoy hearing them engage at that level.

slewing ring is a kind of comprehensive load to bear large bearings, because of its appearance resembling plate, so it is also called "slewing bearing". http://www.1stbearing.com
