Ron Paul
won the Value Voters straw poll by a handsome margin this
weekend and Herman Cain continued his momentum by finishing second.
The Washington Post’s Chris Cillizza
asks if Rick Santorum’s strong third place finish shows any
momentum on the part of the former Pennsylvania senator’s
candidacy:
Santorum seems the more likely option. He finished a solid third
at the Values Voter Summit over the weekend - a sign of a spark of
momentum? - and has a campaign team on the ground in Iowa. Add to
that the fact that he is a down-the-line social conservative with a
voting record during more than a decade in Congress to back it up
and it’s possible that Santorum is the next best choice to fill the
lingering void among conservatives.
“I think Santorum is the next flavor,” predicted one senior
Republican strategist not aligned with any of the candidates. “But
if Cain can prove he has some endurance, he may become a flavor
that hangs around a while.”
It’s worth noting that “flavor of the month” Herman Cain is
recovering from a previous rapid rise and fall, and that Cillizza
says the Republican sources he talked to for this piece still think
Rick Perry will be the nominee.

Many of We Tea Party Patriots Support Our Co-Favorite Presidential Candidate Dr.Ron Paul.
" Paul, a libertarian-leaning Republican, came in first with 37 percent of the vote, continuing his success among grassroots activists. Paul's supporters were out in force on Saturday morning for his speech, where he emphasized the role of his faith in informing his policy views."
The Tea Party Rebellion Is Here.

"...a sign of a spark of momentum..." 2 +2 = 5
The Value Voters audience was supposedly the most sympathetic to Santorum, and he couldn't organize more than 3rd place finish.
For a long time in the GOP and among Democrats, straw polls were considered a great show of a campaign’s organizational strength, and they were also regarded as a measure of a campaign’s momentum toward victory on election day. Organizations like Morton Blackwell’s Leadership Institute used to even teach conservative activists how to organize and win straw polls.
However, when Paul starts to win them, suddenly they’re meaningless. They are so “meaningless” that the Texas GOP had to cancel its straw poll out of fear that Ron Paul would secure an easy straw poll victory over weak incumbent Governor Rick Perry.
Wait for the next election cycle when Paul is not running; what is left of the vintage media will consider straw polls important again.

Ron Paul represents what Americans really want: A BIG change. Not just broken promises of change. We're ready for low or no taxes, more of our paycheck, ending wars, securing our borders, regaining our civil liberties. He has awakened the sleeping giant named America, and we want him for our president. Now.

"Many of We Tea Party Patriots" are too stupid to know standard English and use proper grammar.
Perhaps you meant to say "Many of us Tea Party Patriots" but then I noticed you also support Ron Paul and I realized your intelligence is doubly in question.
The impossibly poor grammar reflects better on your brains than your choice of candidate.

Rick Santorum has the energy, quick response and passion. He is marketable and his answers are not scripted and dry. He has the poise and magnetism to wipe Obama out. The press and Kingmakers need to get behind Rick Santorum!
