Please consider supporting pancreatic cancer research.

I lost my dad to this as well.

I lost my beloved Grandfather to it, when I was just 17.

Steven Jobs, Bill Gates and Andy Grove created the modern Information Technology Era.
Without Steven Jobs we would still be using VT 220 class terminals connected by 9600 baud modems to a centralized batch processing computer center.

Steven Jobs is the reason you are reading this message.
Jobs and Wozniak created the idea of a personal computer for individual use not bounded by governmental or corporate edicts.
Without that idea implemented in a marketable and profitable product then all else in the IT Industry would not have happened.

To say the personal computer changed the course of history is an understatement whose full implications will not be understood for centuries.
Steven Jobs is one of the few people who changed the course of humanity for the better.

Today a very bright light snuffed out in the universe.
And the world is a colder, darker place for his death.
We will not see his like ever again.

I'm saddened to hear of his passing. I recently saw a snapshot of him and thought he was near the end.
We all are nearer than we think.. our short little lives on this planet are just that.

Past~ a Poem

“Two little lines I heard one day,
Traveling along life’s busy way;
Bringing conviction to my heart,
And from my mind would not depart;
Only one life, ’twill soon be past,
Only what’s done for Christ will last.

Only one life, yes only one,
Soon will its fleeting hours be done;
Then, in ‘that day’ my Lord to meet,
And stand before His Judgement seat;
Only one life,’twill soon be past,
Only what’s done for Christ will last.

Only one life, the still small voice,
Gently pleads for a better choice
Bidding me selfish aims to leave,
And to God’s holy will to cleave;
Only one life, ’twill soon be past,
Only what’s done for Christ will last.

Only one life, a few brief years,
Each with its burdens, hopes, and fears;
Each with its clays I must fulfill,
living for self or in His will;
Only one life, ’twill soon be past,
Only what’s done for Christ will last.

When this bright world would tempt me sore,
When Satan would a victory score;
When self would seek to have its way,
Then help me Lord with joy to say;
Only one life, ’twill soon be past,
Only what’s done for Christ will last.

Give me Father, a purpose deep,
In joy or sorrow Thy word to keep;
Faithful and true what e’er the strife,
Pleasing Thee in my daily life;
Only one life, ’twill soon be past,
Only what’s done for Christ will last.

Oh let my love with fervor burn,
And from the world now let me turn;
Living for Thee, and Thee alone,
Bringing Thee pleasure on Thy throne;
Only one life, “twill soon be past,
Only what’s done for Christ will last.

Only one life, yes only one,
Now let me say,”Thy will be done”;
And when at last I’ll hear the call,
I know I’ll say “twas worth it all”;
Only one life,’twill soon be past,
Only what’s done for Christ will last. ”

— extra stanza —

Only one life, ’twill soon be past,
Only what’s done for Christ will last.
And when I am dying, how happy I’ll be,
If the lamp of my life has been burned out for Thee.”

I just found that the title of the poem is: Only One Life.

Dixie Pixie| 10.6.11 @ 1:08AM

Thanks Margie
That was beautifully done.

Tina B| 10.6.11 @ 10:22AM

Yes, Margie, and Dixie, that was awesome.

The final question will be:
"What did you do with my Jesus? What did you do with My Son?"

Such a relief that I can depend on Him for the victory!!!

I love you both, girls, thanks!

And I am grateful also for the life of Steve Jobs, he sure made my life better. Thanks for his life, Lord, may You bless his family in their grief.

Roller bearing is composed of axial and radial two roller bearing assembly, bearings reduce
volume, simplifies the installation structure, thereby reducing the manufacturing cost.
