If I voted for Obama in 2008 and were your garden variety "knee jerk" Democrat voter not ideologically driven--but believed this guy could solve all our problems--I would need psychotropic meds for depression.

Speaking as a lefty/moderate, it's more apathy than depression. For all the disappointments, Obama was still better than McCain/Palin would have been.
I could get fired up to oppose Palin or Perry, and maybe a couple of the others. Some of the possibilities are sufficiently worse than Obama that I'd contribute and canvas and do everything in my power to stop it from happening.
I'm starting to get used to the idea of a President Romney, though. I wouldn't vote for him but he's not scary bad.
Christie is the only viable GOP candidate who might get me to cross over. He's willing to stand up to the crazy elements in his own party, and I think he'd take the kinds of steps that are needed for the economy.

Wall Street & The Ruling Elite Are Setting Us Up For Their Frontman, Mittens Romney.

Wall Street wants Romney because if he were president he'd have a pro-business agenda. What's so hard to understand about that?
Cain would be the other one you'd expect to have a pro-business agenda but he seems to get easily caught up in impractical, gimmicky ideas like FairTax and going back to the gold standard. And rather than taking the time to figure things out he embraces those kind of ideas, gets pushed back, and then comes out with something else. He's no longer pushing for the gold standard, and he's got something called the 999 plan now instead of the FairTax. Overall it doesn't instill confidence in his ability to recognize and reject impractical gimmickry.
