In Praise of Paul Ryan

Wherein I discuss the budget chairman's speech to the Hoover Institution earlier this week. (As an aside, I still think Ryan should run for president.)

Of course you do. The guy voted for TARP and auto bail outs. He is your perfect candidate.

Paul Ryan is an EXCELLENT man.

Furthermore, he would do a lot of good as President.
He's young for one thing, and attracts young people to the fold.
He is SUPER bright~ I really enjoy listening to him whenever he speaks~ he is one of those to whom I will stop doing whatever I'm doing at the moment.. and listen.
Paul Ryan is a GEM. Perhaps he ought to get his feet wet, and run.. but then again we DO need him in the House!!

Yup, he is a good guy---but he may be more effective in the House, undoing Senator Kennedy's life puswork.

I agree. Someone has to read the small print on spending bills that come out of congress. Besides, he is still young. Give him 4 or 8 years with a Republican president and congress, then let him move wherever he wants.

I still wonder about Sarah, and admire all our candidates.....no favorite or pick for me yet! Things have to work there way out.
I would put Ryan as a top pick ....I think very highly of him.
We have a lot of listening to do of people we respect and pay attention to.
Most likely that person we all decide on ...will have been before us all along!
