Fleshing Things Out in San Francisco

I read Bob Tyrell’s piece this morning on liberalism and the protests in support of public nudity in San Francisco’s restaurants and am reminded of the late David Niven’s quip when a streaker ran onstage during the Academy Award ceremonies in 1974. With his characteristic dry English wit, Niven observed, “Well, ladies and gentlemen, that was almost bound to happen….But isn’t it fascinating to think that probably the only laugh that man will ever get in his life is by stripping off and showing his shortcomings?”

Well, so it is that liberals insist on stripping off and showing their shortcomings. I suppose you could say this is their idea of fleshing things out.

Yet it does leave me with one question. If a man in San Francisco chooses to patronize a restaurant au naturelle where does he keep his wallet?
