The Spectacle Blog

Tonight’s Fox News/Google Republican debate will kick off at 9 p.m., and, needless to say, we’ll be all over it. We’ll have a post displaying tweets from our blog contributors live on this blog just before nine, and we’ll also have sporadic commentary during the debate, and a few recaps afterward.

In the meantime, for a preview of what the candidates will be trying to accomplish and what’s likely to transpire, I recommend Jim Geraghty’s lengthy analysis

I think the real question will be if Megan Kelley's legs will be obstructed by a damn desk.

I will one pissed of mofo if this occurs.

As far as debate goes, it'll be weedout time for half of them. Johnson will provide comic relief. Herman Cain will impress as usual and leave me wondering "what if"..

Perhaps it is no longer "what if", after tonight, Mr. Grant!
I've been hoping & praying that Herman Cain pulls ahead.
Love that guy!

Yes he was strong. It made me so happy, Mimi!
LOL, I'm smiling just talking about him. :^).
