This can't be good. Israel has evacuated its staff (save for one) from its embassy in Jordan. A large protest is expected to gather in front of the embassy later today.

For its part, Israel is downplaying things stating its diplomatic personnel routinely leave Jordan right before the beginning of the Muslim weekend on Thursday.

But in lieu of the violence that occurred at the Israeli Embassy in Egypt last weekend you have to believe this was an evacuation. There is no doubt those events have emboldened the public expression of anti-Israel sentiment in Jordan. While Israel and Jordan have had diplomatic relations since 1994, as with Egypt, it is a cold peace. A 2009 Pew Research survey found that 95% of Egyptians have unfavorable views of Jews. In Jordan, it is 97%.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is your Arab Spring heading into fall.

Hillary's done a heck of a job replacing secular Arab autocracies with Islamic autocracies. Look at Israel's strategic position today: to the north, Hisbollah (armed by Iran); to the northeast, Assad, armed by Iran; to the east, Palestine and Jordan; to the south, Egypt, which is smugggling rockets into Gaza; to the west, Hamas. Nice neighborhood! At least the Pale of Settlement was in Europe.

The only way to get peace for this area is to replace the whole Israeli government and put sane people in. Israel is a head long dive to oblivion. For 63 years you have abused your neighbors. It is time to say you are sorry and make peace.

Thanks, Jack, for the neo-Nazi opinion.

Well, Israeli drivers apparently aren't so good. So, it looks to me like they need Jordan, Egypt, and Syria as parking lots.

Jack, I bet my prediction is a lot more likely to come true than yours, Amalek.

More threats of genocide over simple protests. You are clearly insane. Nobody was killed but you want to kill millions. Do you wonder why there is antisemitism in the world today? Well look in the mirror. If you use atomic weapons Israel will be wiped off the face of the earth. The world will finally put a stop to this insanity. You just threatened to kill over 100 million people.
